I wanted to comment on the question where you are replacing the CAS Server and installing antispam agents and send/receive email from Internet.

If that server you are installing is the only 2013 server, you MUST install both the Client Access Server and Mailbox Server roles since they need at least one of each. I think maybe this is a trick question from Microsoft because even though it says you need minimum server roles, technically don't you at least need 1 of each so that would be minimum, no?

SO you can install CAS, Mailbox, and Install Anti-Spam agents.

What do others think.? Just an idea.

i think it is more a case of a badly worded question tbh

and centres on whether All other email means just from the Group2

I am not convinced on the answer/explanation to 16 of 26 ( misc section Ver4)
The questions has a statement/requirement in the text

"All other email must be moderated by a user named Admin1"

But a reason given for it not being answer A in the notes is

"NOT A, This means that all email sent to Group2 will be moderated"

That statement conflicts with the requirements as stated in the question i.e.

"All other email must be moderated by a user named Admin1"

Additionally I can only suggest to NOT to take any further exams in this topic until the forum has had a chance to review my 4th revision. This is proving to be not an easy exam to pass.You must know some theory behind the supplied answers in case the question changes somewhat.

@AKAAG - There is n o training yet. I've been looking and the first ones aren't due out until September. My research has indicated that after a new release, reputable training isn't commercially available until nearly a year after it's released to the public. If you have a way to log in to Microsoft's Partner portal with access to the training module, there are some training videos there. Aside from that, you're just going to have to wait.

it is a stated architectural design goal to do all the mail processing on the mbx service/role

Classmates failed twice with 6xx/1000 using this dump. Myself and other classmate used the 2013-08-05 102q to pass with a 7xx/1000. Something isn't quite right with this dump. We compared the two and found many mistakes on this dump.

In Q6 of Q50 (Under Misc)

It talks about installing a new server with minimum roles. It also mentions to install AntiSpam Agents. I'm a little confused. The answer says .
1. Install CAS Role
2. Install Anti-Spam agents.
3. Restart MS-ExchangeTransport.

By question is, why would you install CAS Role . you can't install the AntiSpamAgents on a CAS Server in 2013. It does state all email flows in and out of server, but you can just let your Mailbox Server do that and not use a Proxy. Can you clarify on this if possible. Thanks again. I honestly appreciate all your help.

Greak work Satchmo. Here's one more ? I remember guys.

What type of load balancer is recommended if you want to detect when a specific URL on a CAS Server is down? (Not in these words exactly, but basically they want an LB solution that looks when a specific URL is down).

There were the usual choices. I chose
1. Layer 7 Load Balancer

They also had Layer 4, DNS Round Robin, Windows NLB, and CAS Array.

What you think Satchmo? Has anyone seen this same question? Now that I think of it, maybe if you want you create a DNS round robin, that points lets say owa.contoso.com to 2 different IP's, and if one is down, itll go to other. What do you guys think?

We all have to understand, these are just a practice questions. You cannot completely rely on this when we have no idea about Microsoft exam techniques.

444 is a lousy score in any Microsoft exam. It basically demonstrates appalling understanding of Exchange.

Thus far 3 people have reported they passed and 3 people have reported they have failed. How can someone fail with 4/5 new questions.

Of course the 3 people that have failed are really emotive about it. Only suggest that for people that have failed go back to the Anonymous dump. Did they bother to check their answers before the test ended. Not wise to leave early.

Microsoft Exam techniques
1. Slightly change the wording of the question resulting in a completely different answer
2. Add more options which could change the answer.
3. Present answer options that are for the previous version of the software program
4. Of course subtle differences between 2 answer options
5. Answer option commands that do not exist.
6. Heavily penalise you for part correct answers. 2/3 correct means 1/3 correct for Microsoft.
Remember in computing you are either 100% correct or it will not work.

The most controversial Microsoft technique could be falsely representing your pass score because of these forums and their associated vce's. If you fail you fail but if you pass Microsoft could reduce your pass mark somewhat in order to confuse these forums as regards the correct supplied answers.
Unsubstantiated but just an interesting remark.

re the Fabrikam question 10 (anti spam/malware agents) - I think the question is actually testing you knowledge of the difference between funtionality of legacy Edge and 2013 CAS

so I actually think EX5 (witch must be a 2013 CAS box) is ment to be used in the answer, maybe just once in each section

Can hardly understand dumps answers are wrong, possibly indeed rewording of Q's. So study those carefully.

If people have a problem with this dump then I suggest you go back to Anonymous's original dump and see if you can pass from that one.

The satchmo series was uploaded to encourage public debate. I too want to pass this exam but very few people are putting in the effort (Anonymous, DNS53, ipsec , Ocean and myself).
If there are mistakes then where are they . No good just complaining or learning the answers off by heart.
In the exam did
1) Microsoft add more choices. This can change the answer
2) Reword some questions slightly which could change the answer
3) The above 2 are common Microsoft initiatives.
DNS53 offered 8 new questions with 4 incomplete ones included.
Some exhibits are missing.
Somebody must know something about them.
More effort please, instead of throwing it back to me to check everything again. That is why the explanatory notes were put in. To see how the answer was arrived at and if it checked out OK.
This apparently is one of the harder exams to pass.

Today I took test and failed. I prepared from dumps that recently updated by satchmo. I found 5 to 6 Questions different.

While keeping good grip on recent dumps, I am failed and that is beyond my understanding.
I think some question anwears are wrong in dumps, Please review it once again may be there is mistake.!!!

I have added the 4th update in the satchmo series to the Forum. I have completed the analysis of all of the 91 questions from Anonymous, corrected incorrect answers, added new questions (via DNS53 from United States), included the reviews of other forum participants and added explanatory notes for each question.
There were 8 incorrect answers from Anonymous's work and 8 new questions were added. Take time to review the incorrect answers to make sure that you agree with them and inform the forum of what you think about these answers. There are only 16 questions which need forum participants to review. Any effort anybody can make in these questions is much appreciated by all.
The way to complete these vc e's is :
1. Somebody adds the base vce to the forum
2. Another person adds the explanatory notes to both check the correct answers and to provide alternative answers for the incorrect answers.
3. Another person adds the new questions if any appear at a later date
It is not an easy exam and extra effort is required by forum participants in these vce's to add to the quality of these vce's.

Took test yesterday. Just barely passed! :) I had extensively crammed this dump. Feels like 5-6 questions completely were new, and a few had wording changed/possible different answers. Of course there's still argument about a number of answers already.
