Just finished 1st classs on configuring and installing server. Need all help I can get.

Q89 or Q88 where you are in "sconfig" configure Remote Mngmnt of server settings. The answer on exam was "Network Settings".. THIS IS WRONG! Checked TechNet, Social TechNet and ITGeeks sites for verification and it should have been Option #4: "Remote Management Settings"
Network settings assigns IP addresses and some basics to server NIC(s).

Question 80 regarding configuring each VM so they can start simultaneously. Answer in this dump is showing as resource control but shouldn't the answer be dynamic memory??

About 80% of the questions were practically identical as in the exams from Gambit, CactusJack and Rimka.
About 5 questions were having differently asked. For Example I got an question about how to reserve a range of IP addresses for IP Phones. Answer is Reservation.

1. You need to install DHCP relay agent and which node need to choose?
2. Server has 4 storage pools Data, Users.. You add new hdd. Which storage pool it will belong?

Sounds like they are mixing it up for the test. Just make sure you read the questions.

met couple of changed questions :)
- The first thing i remember is The drag and drop question for the upgrade from 2008 servers was changed.
1 server x86 on x86 hardware ==> clean installation on new hardware
2 server x86 on x64 hardware ==> clean installation on existing hardware
3 server x64 on x64 hardware ==> upgrade

- other question about the service account the dump had the comand line to configure it using command sc.exe and config parameter the exam didn't have this choice but there is from the service properties select the log on settings

- other question was a server that have 4 disks 500GB each, two virtual machines to be installed only 20 GB for each but it will expand within 3 years to 900 GB and 800 GB. the required is to make the storage configuration that will allow one disk failure with no effect. select two answers i selected to use raid-5 and thin provisioning

- there was the question for the ping failed from zooyourk I selected the active directory icmp-4 "the option not there in the picture"

-there was a lot of questions with the answeres switched places but after all it was good.

One question was regarding permissions. folder permissions and shared permissions. Folder1 is shared as Share1. There are three groups.. Group1 Group2 and Group3. Group1 has read & write persmissions on folder1 and Full permissions on Share1. Group2 has read permission on Folder1 and Folder2. Group3 has read & execute permission on Folder1 and Change permission on Share1. There are two users. User1 and User2. User1 is member of Group1 and Group2. User2 is member of Group2 and Group3. You have to check in a box what rights they have to the Share1 permissions. I checked all the boxes for User1 because full permissions are inherited. And I checked two boxes for User2. Read and edit files.

Also had one question about a script file for configuring DNS servers. Question is about the file extension (.bat, .cmd, .., .ps1). Answer is .ps1.

Can some one answer exactly about ipv6 private+routable?
Someone says it's prefix fe80:, someone 2000
I think it's fc00 (fd00), cos this prefixes are for private networks and they cannot to be routed to global intrnet, BUT can be routed in intranet! Am i right?

And question about security templates. As i can see there is 2 same questions. For one answer is "Security Configuration and Analysis" for second

Passed with a 936. Like everyone else..there are several new questions. I only used this dump but thankfully I have some experience to fall back on. So I would say this dump is valid, but make sure you're prepared.

Took the exam yesterday and this practice test helped me prepare very well, but it seemed like there were about 20-25 new questions and a few of the questions from this dump were reworded or even retooled, making the answer different, but still having the answer you would have picked if using this dump strictly as a guide.

Bottom line, this is a great starting point for your studying. But be sure to google every question you are uncertain of and actually learn why the answer is what it is. Still read questions on the exam carefully. I still passed with over a 900 score! Happy studying.

Test is valid BUT.. You really have to know the material. They have added about 25 questions or more. They also switched up the questions and answers. I used cbt nuggets and the Microsoft 70-410 book for study.
During the test I felt pretty nervous seeing that many new questions. I just read the questions and answered them to the best of my abilities.

another question: alot of contradictions on the new disk added you need to provide 3TB. I can see that the Mirrored 1 and 3 is correct but so is the RAID 5 ? If you have a basic disk and you try create a RAID or Mirrored volume the basic disk is converted to a dynamic disk. This is a trick question in my opinion. If we then 2 correct answers how do we pick Mirror vs RAID 5 ?

As far as i remember, one question was about configuration Dhcp relay (where to configure).

Took the exam today, and got 7 new questions. This dump is valid, but as others say, be careful and read all the questions with attention. Got score 1000 :)

Yeah so I studied this dump and took the exam this morning and to my surprise, there were about 15-20 NEW QUESTIONS! I saw about 20-30 questions from this dump. There are 60 questions total! I also noticed that Microsoft has switched the answers up also. They are not in the same order that you see in this dump. Good thing is that you only need a 700 to pass.

Just took the 70-410 this morning and this dump is 90% valid. I got a few questions (around 8) that weren't in this dump, but if you read carefully you can manage to solve them. Thanks CactusJack, Rivka and Maxbox!!!

So me and my Home-Boy just took the test and passed 952 and 921. We counted 10 new questions and the rest came from this dump which is valid!!!

In Q90, are you pretty sure about the answer 8) - Network Settings ??
I think the right answer is 4) - Configure Remote Management .
'Cause in Network Settings you can only 1- Set Network Adapter Address ; 2- Set DNS Servers ; 3- Clear DNS Server Settings ; 4- Return to Main Menu.

I've found two questions I believe are incorrect.

Question 7.) You have a server named Server1 that runs Windows Server 2012. Server1 has the Print and Document Services server role installed. Server1 is connected to two identical print devices.

You need to ensure that users can submit print jobs to the print devices.
The solution must ensure that if one print device fails, the print jobs will print automatically on the other print device.

What should you do on Server1?

I believe the correct answer is A because there is a need for fail over. Requires two devices with priorities.

A.) Add two printers and configure the priority of each printer.


Question 8.) Your network contains a server named Server1 that runs Windows Server 2012. Server1 has the Print and Document Services server role installed. You connect a new print device to the network. The marketing department and the sales department will use the print device.

You need to provide users from both departments with the ability to print to the network print device.

I believe the correct answer is D because there is no request for fail over. Only using one device with priorities and two departments.

I believe I found an error on Q39. It states the correct answer as B. a mirrored volume on Disk1 and Disk3. While you can mix GPT and MBR disks for mirroring they MUST be dynamic which disk 1 is not it is basic. The below Server 2012 Technet article states that. Is my research correct negating this question.

Q80: answer in dump is "D. Resource Control". Any cite? Resource Control in previous versions was for CPU allocation. Dynamic Memory handles minimum, maximum and now startup memory.

Dump is still valid. Passed today with a 968. Thank you Cactusjack, MaxBox Luguta and Rivca. Had one dns configuration question using powershell and a network question conserning which cidr to use for each subnet in a list both of which were not on the dump or shared.
