If your network has AD DS why would you create a test environment without AD DS to test WDS?

And as far as a standby print server it does ask for a fault tolerant solution. Hint in the question "if the branch office server fails".

I disagree with the change made regarding whether or not AD DS is required for WDS in a test environment. It specifically says Test Environment.

I'm sure the original answer stands - and the solution isn't to use a standby print server. I think the clue is in the question, because it says that Server 2012 and Windows 8 is being used - the exact requirements for Branch Office Direct Printing.

I changed answer for testlet contoso.com Q5. to D. change the functional level of both the domains to Windows Server 2008 R2. I think that's the correct answer as I got full graph for network impletement part.

This claims the roles are moved when you run dcpromo automatically? I have never tried it this way but it would mean the answer presented here in the dump is correct.

Mixed Questions, Question #22 - Drag & Drop:

I think this answer is incorrect. Currently it says:

Install ADDS on DC3/DC4
Run ADDS Config Wizard on DC3/DC4
Run dcpromo on DC1/DC2.

The last step is definitely correct since you are decommissioning DC1/DC2 but first you need to transfer the FSMO roles (unless you want to go seizing them later). The ADDS Config wizard should install the role.

Correct Answer should be:

Run the ADDS Configuration Wizard on DC3/DC4
Transfer operations master roles and create a new global catalog server
Run dcpromo on DC1/DC2.


Also, my previous question about 5 sites/3 links replication was actually from the mixed questions testlet, question #34

Can someone explain how you can replicate 5 sites across 3 links?

I understand the links are transitive but I cant figure out how you can do it with less than 4 links..

The sites question is correct for 111 as it states there is a DFS share at each of the 100 offices. Sites should be deployed where there are domain controllers and where DFS is deployed.

Rob, Exam A is the 2 case studies. Exam B has 68 multiple choice questions. You need to use Exam B from the drop-down to run through those additional questions.

This vce and the other recent postings will not open on the iPad app. The error given is that they are not standard vce files. Has anyone had any luck? Is there any way to convert these files?

I´ve only Access to the 2x14 questions of the case study. There are no additional questions like the 36 mentioned questions in the intro. Can plz somebody help me to gain the missing questions? after i´ve complete the fist 14 questions i´m only able to press the "End" button to get the last 14 questions from the last study, then the exam Ends.

I've just re-read the print server question (Q38) and you're right, my bad there I just was too quick (bad habit) to read the question, I took my time to reread it and confirm you're right.

As per the WDS question you're totally right, I just stumbled upon the standalone this morning while planning the migration of a customer's WDS infrastructure to 2012.. :)

As per the site question I believe you yet can't make sense out of it.. I will think about it again and maybe will see my mistake.

Well I just wish the site would allow me to delete/update the file, it seems I made more bad than good uploading this new version :-)

Q8, minimum requirements for WDS see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh974416. Look for 'standalone mode'. this is a new feature of Server 2012. The link of Marco refers to Server 2008.

In Branch Office Direct Printing mode, the port on the client is replaced so when Client Side Rendering is done, the job is sent directly to the physical print device instead of the print server. -> Clients can bypass the print server.
