This dump is VALID. Studied yesterday, and passed today with a 760 but only because I didn't properly prepare for it. Passed today with 970/1000. Pretty good study material. There's a couple new questions, but make sure to strive to understand the concepts and use this support. Also be intimately familiar with the Sims.

Last one. then I'm heading back to work and dumping all this information out of my brain. Just trying to help you guys out.

1 new question with an exhibit -> You setup a new server, and performed an initial full backup on like January 25, 2003. You added a lady named Anne to the Backup Operators. You tell her to do daily backups. You check the backup logs from your account and only see the interactive backup log that you did. You confirm with her that she IS actually doing them. You need to review the logs from the previous week. What do you do?

Options were like create a Backup Log folder (nope), add yourself as a Backup Operator (don't think so), check "Verify data after backup" on the job (don't think so), or have her login to the server & open Windows Backup (I think that was it) . Key is, you need to just review them. Doesn't have to be from your PC.

Also what I remember ->

1 new sim I kind of got stuck on asked to put a new Finance temp worker in a few AD groups. There were 4 choices for groups, FinanceA, B, C, D. 2 of them were distribution groups (global & domain-local), 2 of them were security groups (global & domain-local). It stated that the new temp needs to receive all Finance e-mails from 2 domains. It stated that company policy says temps should not be allowed to delegate permissions. I choose the 2 distribution groups. I am unsure if this was right. It was a very confusing sim that was limited in what you could see, it may not have even been graded.

1 new sim puts you on the Advanced Security screen of some AppDAV folder. It states that Authenticated Users are currently allowed to add files, and you need to take that away. Simply Edit Auth. Users and remove 2 checkboxes allowing them to WRITE.

1 new question that I don't recall seeing, is asking why the Universal box is greyed out when you are trying to create a new group in a domain with 2 domains in the forest. The two best answers were add your account as Enterprise Admin or raise functional level of domain. I put raise functional level of domain, unsure if that was right.

Here is what I remember ->

1 was an "active exhibit" asking you which disks could fail on a system that had 7 HDD's in various forms of RAID. The correct answer was one of the mirrored ones and one of the RAID 5 disks (2 disks total). There were striped disks in there (obviously can't fail). Just use common sense knowing what can fail in RAID0, 1, and 5.

1 was a question about replacing a failed disk on a RAID5. I believe the correct answer was Initialize the Desk and select Repair Volume. The only answers revolved around importing foreign disks, Reinitializing Disks and stuff.

Correction to the IIS Manager config sim -- It stated to allocate 2Mb/s (Mb) to the site. The box asks for it in KILOBYTES. The geeksondoor sim said 2048. 2048KB/s would be 20Mb/s. I put in 256 kilobytes, I'm pretty sure that was right.

Passed in the 900's. I encountered 12-14 sims, I think 3/4 of them were from geeksondoor. 3-4 sims were not. I hit about 5-6 new questions as well.

If you study all of this & geeksondoor sims, you will pass probably in the low to mid 800's, your score will go up if you get the new stuff right.

Taking exam tomorrow. Will update everyone with how this dump & the geeksondoor sims preparation went. I am pretty experienced in AD, so I don't expect too many issues.

Will be studying this, this week along with the geekondoor sims. Plan to take at the end of this week in the USA. Will update with my results.

Hey guys,wrote dis exam last year and i failed.got 682. I was surprised at the score i got cause these questions are valid or maybe i'm doing sumthng wrng on the simulations. Any advice would be appreciated

Valid! Passed with only 2 new questions. Used geekondoor sim videos and only had 1 that was not covered. As stated before, if you can get these down, you will pass.

This is valid, I passed the exam, but I thought my score would of been higher. I had 44 questions, 10 of them were simulations. I only saw 2 multiple choice questions I didn't understand. I must of made some mistakes on the simulatons, thats why my score was low. Read PING's comments about where to get the simulations (Jan 13). I just needed to spend more time studying the simulations. Thanks everyone and good luck!

This dump is VALID, just took it, 850. Study this exam and you will PASS. Also look at the sims from http://www.youtube.com/user/geekondoor , had about 15 sims, only 2 new sims.

This dump is still valid. I wrote mine today and got 790. The sims on youtube are almost 70% valid. Tip: spend time on permission, both share and ntfs. good luck.

this exam is valid. took my exam on 12/13 and passed with score 840 out of possible 900. I would say 70-80% of the questions on the exam. I had about 10 Simulations and most of those are published on www.youtube.com/user/geekondoor. Practice all the VCE questions and the vids and I guarantee you will pass.

I sat for the exam on Sat and failed, i didn't prepare for any sim. I had like 8-10 sims nd 6 nu questions. Pls, if u ar to write, practice sims very well nd the dumps here is valid.

Decent. I did not see any backup questions but had probably 8 sims. Passed with 880 in 20 minues

Barely passed the exam 700. 12 simulator different then youtube videos and 6 new question. Total 44 question study this really well.
