Back to the WAN Q - I guess you could create a demand dial out filter that would filter traffic via protocol. Although a static route sounds the most effective to me, i'm not sure if you can create static routes over a telephone network. I need to do some more reading as I am still a little vague on this Q

@jon.sorry but i just remembers the other choice was static route. If that helps any i am trying to do some research to see what i can find.

@Jon-- i do not remember it work by work but it was somthing like you have a vpn connection over a WAN what do you need to do so you can still connect if the WAN goes does

demand dial out filters demand dial in filters outbound filters and somthing else.

we also have to rememebr this might be one of those new questions which microsoft is testing and might not even count also.

Are you able to remember the context of the question for the failed WAN connection. I was looking and it appears that both demand dial out filters and demand dial in both work over the PSTN (telephone network). If this is the case both would work as they would kick in once the WAN connection fails. However choosing which one is the question? I guess automatically dialling out to a remote router when the original connection goes down would be the remedy. What do you think?

Took the test today and failed. I scored a 654.
As everyone else has mentioned there is 15 new questions, but there really is about 25
There are 2 new Sims.
New Sims #1. You set up a VPN so the sales group can connect to Server1 but they cannot you need to make sure that ONLY the Sales group can connect to Server1
New Sims #2. You have a main office and a branch office you do not have PKI setup but you need to authenticate the users. In the Simulation question it provides you with the "String" Authenticated 1.
What are you suppose to do with the string?

In order to detect an offline attack I wish to enable the Syskey in mode 3, that is storing a random generated password in a floppy drive that would be required at each startup in order to boot windows.

syskey 2 requires someone to enter a password and syskey 1 is a password which is stored on the local system which can be broken with a brute force attack.

legacy application using lan manager should be kept, and users must be able to restart the DC which hold the application.

@ malawi boi tell us which dump have you used. I am sitting my exam on the 18/7

exam valid with different wording study carefully and understand it some Q are the same by word, some diff in wording but some meaning. sim use shussan most of them are from her. DNS, DHCP, VPN, ACCOUNTING OU, CA, NET LOAD BALANCE, NAT, GPO

I am on this site alot and you can go to any other post and notice that priya_shah_21@yahoo.co.in is a scam. Google the name and first thing comes up is a site which they want you to pay for dumps.

like you said we all want to pass but we want to do it the right way by studying material and getting feedback from others who took the test.

Does this mean you took the test on 2/7/2011 which would be Feb 7, 2011 or did you mean 7/2/2011 which would be July 2,2011?

@moe: I did study but a sim took me by surprise. as far as sims go, I'd say that the ones posted by cena pretty much cover the whole exam, the problem starts with the new sim about routing and remote access, you are given 3 remote access policies, 2 denying access, one granting it to the members of the sales group, the problem is that sales users cant connect via VPN, I failed this sim
