@ Gregor the key part of the question is the very last sentance - " You need to ensure that you use Windows Server Backup to back up data to Microsoft ONLINE BACKUP."

The answer is C - From windows server Backup, run the Register Server Wizard.

Explanation - You can only backup server once you have registered the Server, the only way you can do that is if you have Windows Azure online backup account. So the only way to do that is register the server you want to back up.

Hi guys, can anyone explain Q9 to me ? User1 must use Windows Server Backup to back up Server1.. Why is "Assign User1 the Back up files and directories user right" correct and "add user1 to the backup operators group" not ?

Hi guys! I've passed today with the score 850+. I got 16 new questions and a just rewrited one. Although on the whole this dump is valid, I answered one or two questions in my way.

I think if you're not familiar with Windows 2012 you have to wait for a new dump, because if you get 60 questions with 16 new ones, you have to guess about 25% of total score. You are allowed to have about 30% of wrong questions in total so it's rather close.

Passed 868 still valid. Many new question but this dump will make you pass.

In the question you see an exhibit with computer management open. When managing another server trough computer management or the Remote Server Administration Tool (RSAT) , the actual RPC calls are made trough WMI, which is the answer should be WinRMremoteWMIusers.

Most qustions are rewriten but ask about same thing. They shifted around servers and domain names. And change some of the wrong answers.
Got one real new question and that was about NLB cluster how to direct a port so all requests on that port goes to server2.
So if you understand the questions here then you are OK. But you can't go in and write A one a question for it was A here you need to read the questions.

Confirmed dump is still valid in US. Passed with 934 today. A few questions changed around, most notably was the one with RMS error and the one with doing a storage migration.

On storage migration question server 3 and server 6 architecture was swapped so if you didnt re read the screen shot you would have picked 3 instead of 6. 6 is intel and 3 is AMD on the real test.

Also in the question about a RMS error message where there was an old RMS deployment there is only 4 choices and ADSI edit is NOT one of them.

the DUMP IS still valid , i passed today with 900 + !

Can someone please give me a hand on this? As far as Riot state on his comment, HE'S RIGHT.

However, I've tried to perform the steps that both the question and Riot states (create a user account and assignt to it the user rights) with no sucess.

When I open Windows Server Backup app, I'm facing an error screen and can't do anything.

On the other hand, the question "request" that User1 CAN USE Windows Server Backup. I've found that as a requisite, the user must be a member of the Backup Operators group. When tried that, it works.

Considerations:

• You must be a member of the Administrators group or Backup Operators group to use Windows Server Backup.

According to the answering order, and the comment left by Riot, you can go for either way by creating the rule or the policy first.

Well, I've been doing a little search and found that the most typical usage is to create the rule at first, and then the policy (which then you associate the rule previously created).

If during my assesment I have to face this question, I'll change the answering order according to:

1- Create the rule
2- Create the policy

(the rest of the option will remain the same according to what Riot has stated).

If someone knows better the order which Microsoft will consider the right one, please advice.
