The Carrier deal is just one tiny little indicator of what may happen. First, 1,100 employees are told their jobs will continue. Next, it is only announced late in November that 350+ some-odd of those jobs were really lost. Whether it impacted Jones the local president, most of those families would've begun their Xmas shopping with confidence about the next year. That proves who the Elected One has in his thoughts: the people he is ostensibly trying to help, or himself for furthering his popular image among the faithful. But he broke faith, because he doesn't care about the numbers, doesn't care about the people.
So you wonder about his reactions to the CIA report and the CIA/FBI concurrence. It would seem if he cares so much about himself, he's also setting himself up to look guiltier than heretofore discussed directly in the media and daily news.
