I look at what France is doing to achieve their own energy independence in Europe and ask why hasn’t the US done the same? Fox is focused on election bullshit and political gotcha games. Others said sexual abuse or assault made them want to leave the gender associated with that trauma. Many also said they had autism or mental health issues such as bipolar disorder that complicated their search for identity as teenagers.

Echoing what MacKinnon has found in his work, nearly all of these young people told Reuters that they wished their doctors or therapists had more fully discussed these complicating factors before allowing them to medically transition.

Just because people might believe different things than you, that doesn't mean that their human right should not be protected. From 1948 onwards, Palestinians' human rights have been routinely violated so people should care about them. Does not matter if you agree with their beliefs or not. Right now there is a genocide taking place so we should all do something in our power about it. But since the Palestinians have been dehumanized over the years, many people don't even care.

What's not amazing to me is that you are a shitty Republican who just likes to pretend they aren't. It's so weird. I run into this on social media too. They say something that makes it evident they are a kind of triggered conservative. It's not a rant, but a short comment, an an FB post that has political undertones, and a clear line between right wing and decent thinking. I'll point out that it kinda sounds like they were an upset right-winger. Then they are like 'I'm not a Trump supporter' or even 'I'm not a Republican' or 'I don't support those things' - then you I keep exposing the GQP movement for what it is for a couple of posts, and two posts later they are spouting the craziest MAGA rant at me, all the evil right-wing talking points hit like ducks in a row.

All I then say is - see, I know what you are, why are you ashamed of it and pretend to be something else? Then they disappear.

This is true. I am going to guess you are going to ask me the following question:

"Is genocide happening in Ukraine?"

My answer to that question, which I know you will ask, is to say no. This is a war between two armies and the Russians are not targeting civilians any more than any previous wars we have seen. If there is some type of international case of genocide I am not aware of against Russia, you can let me know.
