I think it’s more than just the bearings. He can turn the crank by hand easily but when puts pressure by foot, it locks up. Bearings bad enough to immediately lock up when trying to pedal surely couldn’t be missed when turning the crank by hand. Thought about broken spindle, but both arms turn as they should as he turns it.God wants him to replace the crank bearings. It's a message from God.
