Agreed. It's absolutely silly to just label psychedelics as bad because everyone's trying to escape rather than enjoy the beauty we have here. That's simply not true.
I mean sure some people use them wrong and some of them still have fun. People mostly use drugs like opiates to escape reality and just be numbed.
Psychedelics tend to open up your mind, and open up different parts of your mind.
Also your surroundings when you trip is very important at least to me and my crew in our twenties when we took a lot of acid and some shrooms. We especially loved tripping in nature. It was so much about the people we were with in the conversation but also the environment. But we got quite comfortable tripping, we'd do it a lot more places than just in the woods or a nice controlled environment in a home. Me and my best friend at the time, we still talk, We could just drop it a couple hits of acid and walk around New York City. Which can be tough to do for some with all that stimulation, But we were confident and we got a ticket once in Union square Park. We were tripping and just having these great conversations and laughing and so happy, sitting on a bench at Union square Park.
This guy walks over and says to us quite sternly I've been watching you guys for a while now from across there. And he started saying some Stern things then he said I have to give you a ticket..... For having too much fun!
He had a whole little ticket book and it was a whole schtick to get donations for a homeless shelter. We had a good laugh and a good chat and each gave him a dollar.
Studies have been done with psychedelics that show they do have solid positive traits.
