Sleepy Don! Heard he was nodding off in court, lol.
I went organic and it's Annie's Naturals or 365 organic ketchup for me. I don't miss Heinz at all.
At least here in New England all the grocery stores were closed (by law) on Sundays. Part of our Puritan heritage. You'd have to go out to eat if you didn't have stuff at home. Blue laws of one form or another were very prevalent until roughly 1970, heck we prohibited liquor sales on Sunday until just a few years ago.Same time period in NC, hard core bible belt state.
Blue laws did allow you to buy food, and necessities to prepare food. You could buy paper towels, but not toilet paper.
My sister just got shut down a planned bible distribution by the Gideons at her kids elementary school in rural Kansas. It had been happening for years at the request of the school board. They targeted 5th graders.
