I'm very curious to (1) test-drive the Cybertruck, and (2) compare it to other EV's & cars in general:
1. Before I got my Mustang, I test-drove the second-gen Honda Ridgeline, which is the best-steering car I've ever driven, which was surprising for being, well, a truck!
2. I later test-drove the Mustang Mach-E. Being an S550 fan, I didn't particularly care for the name vs. the looks (but everyone calls it the Mach-E, so meh), however...up to that point, it was the BEST car I've ever driven! It's an EV that they made feel like driving an ICE, so all the power PLUS all the comfort. Test-driving it completely changed my opinion of the vehicle. It just felt more comfortable all around than the Tesla S, 3, X, and Y (still haven't found a Plaid to test-drive yet tho!)...how it rode, how it drove, how the pedals & brakes responded, how the UI & creature comforts were to use, and even that weird but awesome giant knob in the middle of the touchscreen.
3. I then test-drove the F-150 Lightning EV. To date, this is my favorite car I've driven, EV or ICE. Just a really remarkable vehicle. My only complaint is the limited range, which will probably be addressed in the future as battery tech improves.
My original main interest in the Cybertruck was for the giant battery, which kinda-sorta exists with the battery backpack boosting it to 470 miles (...for an extra $16k). I'm not particular interested in having a truck outside of that. tbh, due to the extreme price hikes (going from $40k to $60k for the base...I mean, you could buy an entire brand-new Subaru Impreza for that lol), that kind of changed the financial conversation quite a bit imo. I'd probably sooner end up upgrading to a V8 Mustang haha.
