The whole warrant thing is weirding me out. I assume that it's the same over here and the intent of the law is that you should be made aware of any court actions against you so you can turn up and defend yourself. If you make multiple public posts stating that you know that there are actions pending and that you are deliberately avoiding being served why can't that just be taken as evidence that you've been served?Rudy posted and deleted a taunt. I'm wondering about the assertion that if they can’t find him and serve him by tomorrow they have to dismiss the indictment. In Arizona ... Do indictments expire with the GJ that issues them if the indictee isn’t served or something? I’m not aware of it, and I couldn’t find anything like it when googling Arizona procedure. Giuliani ought to consider himself lucky. It looks like he was served with a summons, which is a notice to appear in court. They could have just issued an arrest warrant instead. Now, if he doesn’t make his court date, a warrant for arrest will be issued.
