I lost my bicycle chain latch, the one with split pins and the one with wheels, and I saved it. When I was riding my bike, my chain suddenly broke and I was looking for the bicycle chain lock in the street, which comes in three parts, but I couldn't find it. Is it possible to replace such a bicycle lock with something or is it possible to make such a lock at home or buy a lock in a store made of 3 parts? When I bought a chain for my bike, originally the chain was too long and when I mounted it to the bike it was too long, so I had a piece of chain left and I used the remaining piece of chain to make these 2 small eighths and I screwed 2 screws into these eighths and made I drilled 2 holes in some sheet of metal I found and screwed the ends of the screws into these 2 holes. Could this be the case or should it just be temporary until I buy a real chain lock?
From time to time, parts inside the bike make squeaks, where the pedals in the bicycle frame and the shifting parts mounted in the middle of the rear wheel connect. I have Shimano 3CC derailleurs. Should I normally dismantle entire mechanisms from the bike and lubricate them manually one by one, or is it better to drill a hole in the bike for these mechanisms with a drill and inject grease there from time to time with a syringe without having to disassemble the bike so as not to waste time? If the bike squeaks inside, does it mean that the parts are wearing out and need to be lubricated quickly? Does it work like in a car where the engine seizes up?
What is to blame for the fact that I cannot exceed 100 km/h on a bicycle? Is it too weak leg strength, air resistance or the design of the bicycle? If there was a bicycle with double pedals and saddles and two people were riding it, would it be easier or more difficult to set bicycle speed records than on a normal bicycle?
