Like is anyone else absolutely astounded by
@pcgeek11 arguing that leading an armed invasion of the US does not disqualify you from becoming president under the 14th amendment?
Kind of awesome - like if we had a Red Dawn scenario where China invaded the US a natural born American citizen who decided to treasonously enlist in the Chinese army could run for president of the US and theoretically win WHILE HE WAS PARTICIPATING IN THE INVASION. Since he would presumably be operating behind enemy lines it would be very difficult to even get to him to try him and generally speaking the US does not permit criminal trials in absentia.
That is unless he was 34. Then you can just exclude him without trial or any other adjudication.
