It also has an online gaming community, like GTAV.
I thought that was just for shootouts at the old corral type stuff?
Am I mistaken?

It's not bad. Lots of missions and stuff.I thought that was just for shootouts at the old corral type stuff?

How is it still F'ed up? Ive had no issues for a few weeks.
Oh, I thought you meant the game in general and from Rockstar's launcher. My bad.WEEKS?
The game has only been on Steam for A week.
I am currently 30 percent or so into a playthrough on PC. I think I will stop and wait for the update. As I am looking forward to DLSS and raytracing support coming soon. Game is already beautiful, and it should be next level stuff with the new eye candy.
I played through plus Marston and a bunch of the Easter eggs, when it came out on PS4 pro. No big deal to wait for the updates. They promised DLSS and RT without having to double dip? Game looks so good already on PC I wouldn't bother, especially if you're waiting a few weeks or worse months and kind of lose momentum with Arthur and the story.

Nvidia says RTX owners are getting the new enhancements for free - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...?linkId=100000047465849#red-dead-redemption-2Ah ok. But is there actually any raytraced version promised as an upgrade? Wouldn't surprise me to see Rockstar double dip and make you rebuy the game for RT, they're already triple dipping on GTA V.
Overall its a great single player game. The graphics still look amazing on PC. I have played it through to completion a few times on console and PC. Slow start, some weird story missions, but overall a great game. What's the over/under on this game after being out for a while? It's on sale on steam and I want a new single player game.

Thanks!!I'm still playing RDR2 on PC ever since my PS4 died and it's still an outstanding game. It does suffer from some of the same gripes that were prevalent in GTA V but overall it's one of the absolute very few games where you can jump on for a few minutes to just do one thing, but end up four hours later wandering around the countryside or sitting around a campfire listening to your friends in camp tell outrageous stories.
Also, there's quite a few mods that don't require hardly any work to install and add a lot of QoL that was missing from the console versions. Namely the Better Gun Metal mod, the Crime and Law Rebalance mod (removes that annoying psychic law bullshit from older GTA games and balances a lot of other stuff), the Ambient Gangs mod (which adds more life to the countryside and makes some towns a lot more "lively"), and the good ol' Online Content Unlocker mod. All of these adds a wealth of QoL features to the game and only requires the Lenny's Mod Loader tool which is basically just a few extra files and a new folder in your RDR2 directory that you drag and drop mods into and they just work without any extra python scripts, third party mod loaders, or external utilities.
