Yea yea, I was just pinging at the possibility that someone(Pentagon) "sat" on R&D that fit into current tech space without being in current tech space. It's the stuff of conspiracies man . I mean it coulda been an entire 45 minutes of Rogan & Alex Jones depravity.Actually, I thought I saw something many years ago about this, but I get totally comflicting search results. Nothing approaching Intel GIVING the Pentium design to the military.
First this article:
Second:
Pentagon pulls out of Intel's $3.5 billion CHIPS Act grant, expects Commerce Department to foot the bill
Department of Commerce was meant to disburse CHIPS Act grants but is now being held responsible for the full $3.5 billion cost, not just $1 billion + Pentagon fundingwww.tomshardware.com
But some gool ole boy lobbying must have changed some minds in congress.
Maybe it's just me, but something smells. (No, Trump's not around)
edit: I do not know what level of brains be working at darpa and nsa.. I mean you could probably convince me that this is possible?
