Once you get that nagging need for "profit" out of the way, it's all smooth sailing.Yeah, Russian gasoline production is just "hitting it's stride".

Not wild weasel missions. Their action around Syrian (Russian) AD. And not just with the F-35s.
Sounds kinda like when Eisenhower sent advisors (approx 700 incl troops) to Vietnam. Certainly hope this doesn’t turn out the same.
I believe Israel has a new 'amazing?' stealth missile.Well your exact words were "not just wild weasel missions..." and yes, you specified navigation in defended areas. The USAF and USN did plenty of standard bombing and aerial ambushes above Vietnam.
I didn't say F-35s were the only platform the IAF uses, but it probably is for cross border observation or strikes where S-400s are on watch. The tactics used by the IAF around unfriendly countries is more or less the same as what USN and USAF pilots did during sorties against North Vietnam target, just with 5th gen bells, whistles and tweaks. Also lots of drones. The aircraft they rely on now for their most serious air power requirements is American. I guess when tactics and hardware both are imported I'm loathe to use the term innovation.
When I think Israeli innovation I think software, drones/loitering munitions, hostage rescue. IMI does that forge twisting of rifle barrels, that's pretty snazzy.
Significant difference is Ukraine is not suffering an insurgency.I had exactly the same thoughts as you on this Vietnam part 2.
Looks like Germany might have changed their minds.
Germany and France agree Ukraine may strike Russian military targets
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Germany would not prohibit Ukrainian attacks on Russian military targets, saying Ukraine "is allowed to defend itself." #EuropeNewswww.euronews.com
Well, except for all the Russo-Separatists that have been putting up a fuss since '14.Significant difference is Ukraine is not suffering an insurgency.

It's the real deal straight out of Scholz mouth at a news conference with Macron. Finland just joined the part too.Scholz has seen the light? Damn. I hope that is legit. Who do we have to thank for this I wonder, is this Macron's doing?
AFU just needs to focus on hunting orcs and their vehicles, go out of their way not to emulate what Russians do to Ukrainian cities. Keep the moral high ground while stacking orc corpses even higher.
Huzzah Deutchland! Now send all the Taurus missiles you have to go along with this latest blessing.

EW and the use of decoys, both physical and spoofed, to twist your way around defenses and lure interceptors away from strike packages, none of it is new.

Meanwhile North Korean ballistic missile parts being found in Ukraine after being launched by Russia at the same time Putin is saying NATO weapons being used to target sites in Russia would result in a nuclear response. It's so obvious you can't win a war without being able to attack the country you're fighting.
Better late than never. Italy next.Finally. Prob just Belgorod oblast but it’s something.
Think it's is limited to couterstrikes around Kharkiv. No more firing from Russia with impunity.Finally. Prob just Belgorod oblast but it’s something.
Politics. It was one thing when we (I) thought that the administration was taking the "boil a frog slowly and it doesn't jump" path. That's gotten pretty old, IMHO.
