Their unwavering dedication and belief in Trump is impressive. Common sense is he said what he said to save face, but it's not unimaginable to think in his heart he believes that's how this will play out. Only in MAGA land could 34 convictions be a nothingburger that won't derail the Trump Express. Next Stop the white house - well, after he gets acquitted and an apology from the state of NY of course.

He did actually use his own money to pay her off, at least insofar as he reimbursed Cohen. The crime here was that he would have had to report it as a campaign contribution, which he didn't want to do as that would expose the affair.

Also, the level of denial here is pretty funny. He's not going to be acquitted, if anything plenty more felony convictions are coming.
