That 130 TOPS per Watt* NPU?What are the chances that Nvidia's keynote spoils the party? Announcing something that out-halos Halo.
So true, gotta run Recall™ botnet 17% faster. That 130 TOPS per Watt* NPU?
They have little to show, and whatever new they could show isn't out until next year. What are the chances that Nvidia's keynote spoils the party?
The 2025 part is clearly a premium ultrathin part, they want dGPU for the higher TDP designs.Announcing something that out-halos Halo.
Christ was reborn. Just like AMD.
I really don’t think Nvidia feels threatened by AMD in any meaningful way. They have little to show, and whatever new they could show isn't out until next year.
Sure they could tease client BW but that really doesn't change anything outside of being seen as desperate.
All this is is their introduction to doing PC SoC's and faffing off about software as per usual.
It is very obviously designed to take anything away from AMD's actual Computex opening keynote. I guarantee they mention both Qualcomm and Intel and avoid AMD.
A very petty off premises unofficial 'keynote' plus the event they are doing a few days after is all to try to fill the newscycle and obfuscate AMD.
Because guess what, AMD are the only actual competitor and if you need proof, well how NV deals with them is the proof.
The 2025 part is clearly a premium ultrathin part, they want dGPU for the higher TDP designs.
AMD will show what comes out in Q3 and even then RDNA4 is likely a teaser with launch at probably Gamescom.
I am hoping for a one more thing, whether a Halo tease or MI400 tease, but AMD probably wants to keep max opsec on 2025 parts.
they literally had blog wars over MI300X half a year ago.I really don’t think Nvidia feels threatened by AMD in any meaningful way.
They literally had their main PR bot come out and downplay suggestions from a former employee that NV was untouchable for the next decade.I really don’t think Nvidia feels threatened by AMD in any meaningful way.
The guy who said about the 130 TOPS per Watt NPU?They literally had their main PR bot come out and downplay suggestions from a former employee that NV was untouchable for the next decade.
You seem to quite optimistic about AMD's chances.Plus teasing their next gen before GTC which is unheard of. This latest event is straight up damage control from what they know AMD will be showing the morning after.
NV knows AMD has the right plan and the pieces to execute it, nobody else does.
The future is bright. More in 19.5 hours. You seem to quite optimistic about AMD's chances.
There's a good reason I almost felt like screaming at Ashraf for doing the blog war.You seem to quite optimistic about AMD's chances.
Christ rose on the third day. I'm expecting 3%I honestly believe that "Turin" is a reference to Shroud of Turin, a reflection of the high expectations for Zen 5 even inside AMD.
Wait... what was Christ's age again...?
33!
The IPC is 33%!
Boring? 481 pages of tech gossip begs to differ.I am really curious how AMD have managed to keep leaks to a minimum, pretty impressive even if a little boring for us here.
My prediction is if AMD show a geomean IPC figure it will be lower than some of the numbers in this thread because it will be fitted to the NT Specint 2017 uplift like Zen 3 and Zen 4 were. Until testers get product in hand we won't know if the 1T claims hold up but if we see games on the upper end of the IPC chart then it will be an indicatior.

But things could've been a tad bit more interesting if MLID were herePretty sure most of that is down to adroc and Kepler tbh, without those tiny morsels we would have nothing at all to gossip about.

That's because he's a mere human, here's what using AI to present AI looks like:@yuri69
You've missed AI in the two last points
This sentence lacks the word AI, fail.Prepare for the future of processing with AMD's Zen 5 – where every task is an opportunity for brilliance.

Your suggestion was successfully assimilated. How about:
Thats only to get the 'AI PC' sticker. Mainly of concern with laptops, not big box pc's that can do AI on a discrete card. You guys are overlooking the elephant in the room, namely the M$ 40 TOPS requirement.
