Jeez... Since when did AMD stand for ASUS Mobile Devices?
yeah thats good.Strix Point laptops available in July... noice!
Yes, it will dominate the hype cycle.Zen 6 will DOMINATE .. Just you wait fellas
I can already see RGT thumbnailZen 6 will DOMINATE .. Just you wait fellas
So true (in edge).Zen 6 will DOMINATE .. Just you wait fellas
Is it possible IPC only goes up significantly in very int-heavy workloads and everything more mixed or fp-heavy is much less (outside of AVX512)?No, not that.
At 16% PPC they're physically not getting that 128c socket score.
96c you can game with magical v/f curves being magically way better, but not 33% more cores ISO-ish node.
AMD hasn't lied or missed a single DC part in Zen history so this would be a first.
Everything since Rome was exactly as promised.
Not on my connection. Is it just me or are there quite a lot of cuts for a supposedly live stream?
I don't believe it even though I heard it.Strix Point laptops available in July... noice!
Someone said yes but I have to see it first. Is it possible IPC only goes up significantly in very int-heavy workloads and everything more mixed or fp-heavy is much less (outside of AVX512)?
L1/L2 b/w is actually wayyy up so there's that.so I'd assume anything cache-/bandwidth- or FP-bound won't scale so well, even with bigger ROB and so on.
That's the top-end Xeon. Why is AMD comparing to trash????
was Genoa better than that Xeon? answer: yesThat's the top-end Xeon.
IPC doesn't mean much when the clock speeds are wildly different.30-33% IPC lead in GB6 lmao.
Didn't PHX' iGPU clock up to 2.7 GHz? 2.9 GHz isn't a groundbreaking change...
bidding starts at +25% IPCZen 6 will DOMINATE .. Just you wait fellas
Well, it does matter because N3E X925 will be increasing clock rates too.IPC doesn't mean much when the clock speeds are wildly different.
