Edit: watched the whole thing. These cards ,may not be a good idea for ordinary consumers, as they require "special" (hacked? virus-ridden?) drivers in order to operate in Windows.

What prevents users from just downloading the 3060m drivers off Nvidia's site and using them? The form factor of the card is different but as far as the PC is concerned it's all the same.
They are knock off cards.
Maybe you can get a real BIOS onto one? And then regular drivers would work.
-Its a little surprising whoever went through the trouble to make the cards didn't just lift the BIOS from the existing card. Seems like more work to create a BIOS from scratch than just use a perfectly good existing BIOS.
It's the same chip with the same power and RAM requirements running over the same BUS.
Ju st a standard ATX form factor instead of MXM or whatever.
Not mobile. There is no LHR on mobile.The regular BIOS limits mining on 3060 cards. I am going to guess the different BIOS was to get around this.
Hey I got one of these cards - any advice on how to modify the ini or even maybe flash the bios to make these more "legit"?It's possible that the hack is just modifying the INI file of the driver to include the hardware device ID of the GPU.
