It absolutely isn't enough of a deterrent obviously.seems like a $10k fine plus possible jail time (6 years?) is fairly stiff to me. I saw the video of them trying to enter and it was a pretty weak attempt that obviously had little to no planing. They had zero hope of gaining entrance.
Not saying they should be excused because it is obviously a crime, seems like $10k plus a criminal record AND potential jail time is a pretty good deterrent.
