Seems like probably a good time. I haven't specifically heard people talking about how he should have packed it up already like I have some other aging musicians, so there's that. Probably gonna be some pot smoke if it's an outdoor venue.

an aside, in little league coach put me in cf, had a solid double but I took off my glove to hot dog it and it bounced to the fence.. might have been an inside the park...I don't recall but coach was pissed.
don't put 11yo me In centerfield.

I might have gotten it from daryl strawberry I don't recall, I just recall the jeering bc I choked..the ball took a funny hop up over my shoulder

I can't quote on this MacBook..might be me but ill answer
an aside= not directly related to the main topic
little league, a youth baseball league where in my time u had to qualify for or u went to the minors. American baseball.
took my glove off=took my fielding glove off baseball fielding glove to barehand the catch.
hot dogging it=see above its not advisable to barehand plays that are more manageable with the glove...its showing off, etc.
hit the fence=ball bounced past me, runners advanced more than if I kept the ball in front of me, fielded it proper.
cf=centerfield, important position in baseball, have to cover for both left and right fielders, and have a strong arm/ range to play position

I played a lot of little league when I was a kid, so I understood spaceman 100%.

Don't know if that's good or bad.

I caught one of those bad hops right in the eye at about the same age. It was a nice line drive and I was going to scoop it low as I ran up on it.
The ball hit and went "BONK" on a Masonite base plate for another diamond. Came up high like a ball off pavement right over my raising glove and bam! black eye knocked down oh fuck.
