I think your worst odds of losing the election is if Biden dies of old age before november.

Shit.

Eh don't see how that is anywhere near as bad as trumps double handjob dance or him molesting the flag while smiling like a frog.

"If I were advising Trump, I’d say exactly that,” one longtime Democratic strategist said, echoing the line of, “Were you better off under President Trump?” “These are the issues voters care about and we’re losing the debate on each one, even if we don’t want to admit it.”

Oof....the internal polling data must be horrific.

Your pants shitting certainly is horrific.

Same question as before. Have you figured out why you were always wrong before and have you adjusted your thinking accordingly?

I agree. But I think it's a way to avoid feelings of worthlessness, in other words self hate, and it's curable. Sadly the feelings causing this avoidance strategy are the ones that need to be faced to cure it. I hope that your constant reminder to him how wildly wrong his predictions prove accurate might lead to some self reflection but I won't hold my breath. One can only try. It's up to the other person to decide to change.

As a side note and something that just occurred to me that I have seen is that in a therapeutic situation with the right therapist, a capacity to catastrophize, to allow negative feelings to surface, can be a good thing. It's harder for folk who try to live always with a smile. That's a defense that might be even harder to escape. Ego is the gift of rationalization, I think and comes in different styles.

Because Biden is massively, historically unpopular in virtually every metric imaginable, so anything is possible.

Also he is physically deteriorating in front of our eyes and this is the first election in our lifetimes where there is real doubt a candidate (or both?) can even finish a term. Another wild card, and not particularly in his favor.

Replace Biden with Trump, and you will have a factual statement. The same Trump who was frothing in the mouth, can't finish a thought, and can't even stay awake at his own criminal trial.

This is not an answer. Why were you so hilariously wrong before and why are you right now.

Give us an explanation as to 1) and 2)

Also remember you weren’t just wrong once but over and over.

none of this is at all true, though. It's weird that you claim this as the basis of your argument, when it is just a pile of plain lies.

Some people are only happy when they’re sad.

I'm only happy when it rains
I'm only happy when it's complicated
And though I know you can't appreciate it
I'm only happy when it rains
You know I love it when the news is bad
And why it feels so good to feel so sad
I'm only happy when it rains

Which part? And how?

What's your solution?

I've seen what 1900 posts of you cudgeling everyone with polls.

What's your solution or your only point is to troll?

Lets see if he avoids the question which practically exposes his trolling.

I've asked before, but who is actually getting polled, and how?

I can't see any way anyone would ever reach me with a poll. No land line, I'd never respond to a random email, I don't answer non-contact cell calls. I reckon most people I know are pretty similar.

"Were you better off under Trump" is just dumb, but so are people. Covid was a big factor, economics run in larger time frames than a presidency. The Debt racked up by Trump's stupid "tax reform" won't hurt until later for example, more than enough time to blame Democrats and screech "look at the Debt!".

You could try to explain that one party is gleefully ignoring and denying climate change, which will be affecting mostly their childen, and their children's children, but that's too much thinking for the public to bear I guess. Better just to handwave it away as fake.

This is a real concern in the polling industry especially with the younger demos that many surveys say have shifted 20-30 points to Trump. Some pollsters recognize this as a potential problem, others say their survey is just capturing the largest and fastest political shift of our lifetimes. You be the judge. They've also flubbed Trump/R's black share pretty badly the last few cycles and they're at it again somehow.

I can in fact say with absolute certainty that I was NOT better off in June of 2020 than I am now. When people answer this question they just really want a time portal back to a perpetual idealized 2019 which is of course impossible but some people think Trump can deliver that. To say they are mistaken would be too generous, they are morons.

There's so many factors involved in "are you better off at x time" that I find it quite weird to try to pick a President that way. I mean, list all the things that have happened for good or ill in your life in the past eight years--how many of them have anything to do with the POTUS? It sounds like something you'd ask a small child to try to manipulate them into doing something.

It would make a little more sense if you asked that about your state politicians, and a little more if you asked it about your local ones. Still just appealing to emotion though.

Not that hard to look at the policies laid out by each candidate and score them up....see which seems better to you. Look at the people each would hire (Biden's current dept heads, Trump's past ones) and see which seem more qualified. I don't even care if Biden keels over, because all that stuff would likely stay the same under Harris.

Trump is going to cut all prices by 30% on day 1. It's a brilliant economic strategy to reverse inflation that no has ever thought of. He has the most bigly brain.
