I have nothing recent to post here, but back during the pandemic, I found a bottle of Xyzal listed for $1 at Walmart.
I bought one bottle two separate times before they caught on that the price was wrong.
Picked up 5lbs of beef shanks at $3/lb and will be making braised shanks in the dutch oven. Carrots, celery, red wine, stock, herbs, and two cans of tomatoes.
5.90/10 = 0.59 per lb. The thigh quarters would have to be 75% bone by weight to be around 2.50/lb bonelessI've seen the same 10 pound bags for $5.90
The problem with quarters is the amount of bone you're paying for. I get boneless, skinless thighs for about $2.50/lb (sometimes less) , all meat, no waste.
