This is some-what transient to the thread but still relevant:
One of the reason why trump is so successful is that those on the right are more likely to believe 'bullshit' as truthism. There was a recent survey of Twitter (sometimes called X by a certain idiot) current users; and while most people to the left found a lot of the statement funny or conspiracy; those on the right though they were genuine news posts. I.e, post random bullshit and those on the right think it is breaking news !
I guess this supports an ill-advised but somewhat factual statement by a former presidential candidate that many on the rights (and most of Trump's supporters) are genuine morons.
