There is not much daylight between what Trump would do vs what Biden is doing in regards to the murder of women and children in GAZA except Trump would bypass his spokespeople and not even give performative verbal handwringing reservations about concern for the lives of non-combatants.
In Trump would probably be openly enthusiastic about it as a Congressmember was privately to then PM Menachem Begin during a closed Senate hearing in 1982 in the wake of Israel's conflict with Lebanon and also recounted in "The Internationalists" by Alex B Ward.

Like my sig says.. the stupid people outnumber us!

I just relayed what a lot of Gen Z seem to think according to polls...
first linked in post #2,474 of this thread on the previous page taken from an axios webpage.

Which seems to indicate that they don't really wish to make up the difference you mentioned in the first post.

All Biden had to do is be as tough on Israeli PM's as presidents were in the 80's and early 90's

Genocide (if one is inclined to accept the ICJ's reasoning and opinion) or at the very least what is a very callous disregard for collateral damage in pursuit of Hamas militants is not kosher.

And Biden doesn't lift a finger it seems to reign in the military actions of a state that receives billions in aid from the U.S. annually

He can't do shit about it. Congress decides funding.

All you have to do is go back to Obama and remember Netanyahu hated him but Obama could do absolutely nothing to stop billions in aid.

You can bitch and whine or you can do what Israel does.. spend money and control congress who votes on the aid. That would stop it.

Likewise to your views about the concerns over how the vote will go in 2024.

As hinted at before I don't like either candidate (as in my view) one way or another whatever the result of Nov. 2024 is... The aid will flow and Israel will have all the munitions it needs to murder as many women and children it wants.

However, I'm more confident than you it seems that Trump won't win. I just happen to think that as far as the M.E. goes neither one will try to stop the massacre.

Have you not taken any time to see Trump’s statements or actions?

This reminds me of 2000 and 2016 where people convinced themselves there was no difference between the candidates. There really, really, really was.

There is a zero percent chance you actually give a single fuck about the people of Gaza other than as a convenient way to bothsides once again. If Trump was in the WH we wouldn't see a single post on this issue from you and you know it. Hell, you'd probably be defending Israel if anything.

I mean, the central point is pretty hard to argue against. Neither Biden nor Trump will stop what's happening, not on their own.

Biden isn't doing much. He's fucked, at least partly (maybe?) because he needs jewish votes. Partly because he's old school and probably really does "like" Israel, no idea. The reality is, he's not doing much.

That said, however little Biden is doing, Trump will probably do less. Trump really doesn't want to be involved in foreign stuff unless it's about him. Once he's elected, he won't give two shits about the entire area--right now he's soaking up the Evangelical vote and he knows they worship Israel.

If he does or says anything after getting elected, it will be to aid Israel in what they are doing beyond what we currently are giving them. In no possible world would Trump be favorable to the Gazans. Trump has already said basically that Israel should "get it done with" which means, go in there and flatten Gaza and exterminate the roaches. So yeah, young people upset over Gaza and voting Trump (or not voting and helping Trump in that way) are in for a bit of a shock IMO.

Just like your concern over the results of this election.

I provided my links to actual evidence of statements made by individuals who are the subject of the thread you post an image to me.

Who based on that critieria has shown more care or effort in the past few pages.

Only the delusional think (if you can call it such) it's person posting burger buns...

Trump has a literal illegal West Bank settlement named after him. Anybody who thinks the Palestinians in general will fare better or about the same under another term of him are absolutely delusional.

I think that you are right and yes have been more tactful than me in saying as much. Trump will do less. However, one cannot say much positive about the current situation in the Gaza and now Rafah.

Not to mention the foreign aid workers or reporters who have somehow become "collateral damage."

If you think I have any love for Trump go pound sand.
Because You're as wrong as anyone who thinks he actually cares about the working class who have desperately turned to him for economic hope.
He's already proven that he is just a tool of the establishment Gang of Pirates with the tax legislation he signed for the rethugs when was in office. Tax cuts which last for the higher earning tax brackets and sunset for low wage earning tax brackets.

He's a fake populist and he would easily have been beaten by any real populist candidate. I was actually hoping that the movement to get Sen. Warren to run in 2016 would actually be successful.

I'm annoyed I have to vote for an octogenarian for president. But voting for the two years younger Trump is just as bad age wise, and is a moron. The choice, despite his age and my policy disagreements, is simple. I am, again, voting for Joe.

I'm less concerned with Gaza than what's happening in our neck of the woods.

Education is good, yet it is deemed evil.
Democracy is good yet it is deemed evil.
Civil rights are good, yet they are deemed evil.
Reproductive rights are good, yet they are deemed evil.
And Obamacare covers mental health yet it is deemed evil.
