I often wonder if the cages are to keep drones out or maybe it is to keep the soldiers in when the tank blows up ?
The cages are very effective against drone dropped munitions and drone top attacks.

Some of the most common threats are Ukrainian Octocopter's that both function as flying relay antennas for the FPV drones and carry AT-grenades / FPV drones they can drop or deploy. About 30 kilos worth.

The cope cage makes the most devastating drone attack quite difficult to do, dropping a munition through the hatch of the vechile. There is literally a cage in the way. Even an FPV drone has difficultly navigating around the cage to go down the hatch.

Keep in mind signal jamming is common, so the last few seconds of a FPV attack may not be human controlled.

Lastly, Ukrainian's use similiar cages for the same purpase.

It really is wild how all the foreign troll accounts disappeared at the same time. No longer in the Russian budget?
who are they?

I'm curious. Or is it that anyone who is wary of the MIC is automatically named such under the NeoMcCarthyism applied to people who think the failed peace talks (which have been link to by another poster in this thread) a squandered opportunity? To stop conflict that is resulting in massive casualties.

As an supplement to their post which I hope to link here after a search.

This is an article that covers the same subject of failed 2022 peace negotiations that was in post #37,908 of this thread

I saw an idiotic post that mentioned older munitions given to Ukraine from U.S. as "killing Russians for free"

I guess the Ukrainian lives it cost to obtain the Russian deaths isn't really a thought for them.

Vladimir Putin to visit North Korea as he seeks further military support

"Putin is expected to arrive in North Korea on Tuesday with a large entourage of government ministers and advisers, including those responsible for the Russian military and weapons procurement. They include his new defence minister, Andrey Belousov, and Denis Manturov, his top deputy prime minister overseeing the defence sector."

^^^Not the best news.

Maybe they'll get more stuff to blow up in their own tubes.

But maybe SK is watching too. More stuff sent off is less stuff they have to use.

Having to go to personally beg Kim for more garbage munitions is not what I would call a good sign for the Russians.

The Ukrainians are fighting an existential war for the sheer existence of their state, people, and culture. They're gonna fight the Russians if we arm them or not. Being better supplied means fewer Ukrainian casualties not more.

From our perspective this thing is the deal of the millennium. We can send munitions that have values of pennies on the dollar and that we'd have to pay to get disposed and they are instead turning Russian invaders into fertilizer. Then we turn around and buy new/better stuff made right here in the US by American workers and American companies.

Whoever wrote that is smarter than you. Ukrainians are fighting and dying because Russia invaded them, not because the US has delivered weapons to Ukraine.

As an easy test for this when the US paused aid to Ukraine did Russia stop its invasion? Of course not, they pressed harder. See how silly your idea is?

really? Sorry, it would have been better if the peace negotiations actually worked. Maybe you're just glad it didn't and are fine with proxy wars.

history didn't start in that area in 2022.
Conflict has been going on in that area for a while before Russia's invasion.
a CNN international report from 2016.

It would have been great if peace negotiations had worked but that was always Ukraine’s decision and they decided the terms offered by Russia were nonstarters. For example the ‘security guarantee’ Russia offered would have given Russia the ability to veto the security guarantee! Lol.

Russia’s terms were for Ukraine to disarm itself to make the next invasion easier. It’s easy to see why Ukraine would not accept. All the US is doing is giving Ukraine the means by which to defend itself if it so chooses - something we should all enthusiastically support and celebrate.

Remember, every Ukrainian death is the fault of Russia and Russia alone.

The only one in denial is you magats!

And no point really talking to one who clearly denies basic facts. Off to ignore for another inbred piece of shit who doesn't have the basic IQ to tell a con.

ok you are fine with the the proxy war. It's not helping us or anyone else. but I guess you seem ok with it.

___________
I'm perfectly ok with giving weapons to people who want to defend themselves from a dictator. As long you're ok with invading dictatorships I guess we should do nothing.

You're basically arguing that the Ukrainians should lay back and take it. That's pretty gross.

Put it another way, from some of your posts here I don't think you align yourself with the freedom caucus nut jobs and Trump, but here for some weird reason you are. Maybe you should think about that means for the morality of your position. You and Marjorie Taylor Greene are on the same side.
