Seems like good incentive coming your way!Well, we have a mini split with only 18K BTUs of cooling on the first floor, which isn't quite enough. We do get allot of sun in the afternoon. I need to put up partially reflective film on the sliding glass doors. I've been avoiding it since I had no idea how to get rid of the bubbles or starting over if it was misaligned. Finally saw a video showing that with a bottle sprayer with water an a small amount of dish soap, the film remains moveable for several hours and it's easy to squeegee out the bubbles. I just need to get my *ss in gear and get it done.
Wow. Are you from the pacific northwest?I almost feel bad for some of youse...ALMOST. I just looked at Accuweather, we don't have a single high temp of 70 or above forecast for the next two weeks. I know Accuweather isn't always...accurate, but they're usually pretty close.
Hard to get hot days without sunshine.Wow. Are you from the pacific northwest?
Edit: Nevermind. I see you're in WA.
Not only in WA, but on the coast in WA…My house is about a mile from the ocean, 1/4 mile from Grays Harbor. ( just a large bay/river estuary)Wow. Are you from the pacific northwest?

True enough, but our weather is moderated by the 50-ish degree Pacific Ocean. We have a nice sunshiny day today…nary cloud in the sky…temp is 59F headed for about 62.Hard to get hot days without sunshine.
His temps are specific to being coastal, I'm only like 70 miles inland from him and we're likely to have a high in the 80s the next few days.Wow. Are you from the pacific northwest?

Sadly we're entering the time of year where it's going to be mostly sunny until like October 😥Hard to get hot days without sunshine.
In the 80s? OMFG! Time to open some cooling centers! His temps are specific to being coastal, I'm only like 70 miles inland from him and we're likely to have a high in the 80s the next few days.

Is your house tsunami proof? If not, it might not be a bad idea to build a boat. A big boat...My house is about a mile from the ocean
Yep. In case of a tsunami, I will just put my head between my knees and kiss my ass goodbye. Is your house tsunami proof? If not, it might not be a bad idea to build a boat. A big boat...
Sounds lovely. I briefly lived near a beach on the east coast but it helped keep warmer temps. We had sun though hehe. Not only in WA, but on the coast in WA…My house is about a mile from the ocean, 1/4 mile from Grays Harbor. ( just a large bay/river estuary)
I've installed a couple ceiling fans this year, probably won't need to break out the portable AC just yet!In the 80s? OMFG! Time to open some cooling centers!
