Not that we needed 8 months to find out...

'Immense' scale of Gaza killings amount to crime against humanity, UN inquiry says

GENEVA, June 12 (Reuters) - Both Israel and Hamas committed war crimes in the early stages of the Gaza war, a U.N. inquiry found on Wednesday, saying that Israel's actions also constituted crimes against humanity because of the immense civilian losses.
The findings were from two parallel reports, one focusing on the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks and another on Israel's military response, published by the U.N. Commission of Inquiry (COI), which has an unusually broad mandate to collect evidence and identify perpetrators of international crimes committed in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israel does not cooperate with the commission, which it says has an anti-Israel bias. The COI says Israel obstructs its work and prevented investigators from accessing both Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories...

Just another Thursday when Israel uses US taxpayer funded weapons to blow up schools and kill kids. Cut them off now. I am sick of it.

I can agree with you here.

Israel has demonstrated what they view as a valid threshold for targeting and what we view as a valid threshold are incompatible. It is long past time to discontinue sending offensive weapons of all types to Israel.

at least the decision was reversed.

But it directly goes to show the entrenched hatred of some Israeli government officials at the upper levels of Israeli government.

and more sadly, that even though the decision is reversed, the person who made it received no punishment for it. Setting the example for everyone below him.

Well, can't be inconsistent, as those extremists that block, burn, and destroy aid trucks and assault the drivers aren't ever arrested ~ so much so that they are happy to perform on camera unmasked.

Ethnic cleansing was always the goal. Imagine how these fucking monsters in Israel dare cry about "anti-semitism" every single fucking time their love for genocide is criticized. Fuck them.

Label moves like this as what it truly is, crimes against humanity.

I've been critical of elements of the Israeli government from the beginning of the conflict. This just solidifies that there is a large contingent in the Israeli government that wants to annex every last bit of land from the Palestinians. And keep in mind Israel has already been illegally stealing land from the Palestinians for decades. This includes the Gaza strip as well as the West Bank.

Until Palestinians are treated with dignity, there will not be an end to this conflict. It may wax and wane, but it will not end.

The entire Israeli government should be thrown in jail for crimes against humanity.
Unfortunately, judging by some of the videos I've seen of their religious fanatical gatherings and crowds, I don't know if that will be enough. Put some high ranking govt/military officials in jail, plenty more where those came from. They seemingly have a never ending supply of hatred and bloodthirst. Since the nations of the world don't want to do anything to curb their appetite for murder, the only reasonable solution seems to be to evacuate the Gazans and spread them around the world, in low population density places where certain govts want more people due to declining birth rate. It's not an ideal solution and it might create more problems than it solves because Arabs in general are not nice (I have personal experiences to back that up). They are quick to take offense even when none is intended. It's like they are always looking for an excuse to feel insulted. Anyway, this is the only solution I can think of, in a world that is "afraid" of Israel.

Yep, people don't seem to understand that the overall popular opinion in Israel has been split so far - but it is split between those who think the genocide of Gaza has been about right, and those who think they have been far too restrained and not gone nearly far enough in exterminating the Palestinians.

Only a small minority, less than 1 in 5 Israelis, think they have gone too far in Gaza. The hatred runs deep on all sides of this conflict, and has been engrained and trained for decades from infancy.

Also , little Himmler's newest trick
Haaretz: The Israeli prison administration has significantly reduced the quantities of food for prisoners‎

‎Haaretz quoted security sources:‎

‎Israel's prison administration has drastically reduced food for Palestinian prisoners since October 7.‎

‎National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir says reducing food for Palestinian detainees is part of the deterrence measures.‎

‎The amount of food provided to Palestinian prisoners falls far short of the minimum required by international law.‎

Widespread Arab condemnation of the legalization of settlement expansion
Arab countries and organizations broadly condemned an Israeli decision allowing settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank, warning of serious consequences, and denouncing Tel Aviv’s violation of international law.
This came in statements issued by the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan, in addition to the Gulf Cooperation Council and the League of Arab States.

nothing to see here,completely normal

Little Himmler at it again

It is time to dismantle the spins and respond to the deluge of false briefings and accusations by the Shin Bet and its spokesmen in the media. Since I took office as Minister of National Security, one of the top goals I have set for myself is to worsen the conditions of terrorists in prisons, and to reduce their rights to the minimum required by law. This is how I committed to my constituents and the people of Israel in the election, when I announced that I would demand the job. Everything published about the appalling conditions of these dastardly killers in prison was true. They controlled the prisons unchallenged, and did whatever they wanted. In the last year, before the war broke out, I waged an all-out war to carry out the long-awaited reform of their conditions, and to fulfill the mandate I received from the public.

The main organization that fought my attempts to lead this important reform, and even succeeded in preventing it, is the Shin Bet, under Ronen Bar. He stood on his hind legs, and repeatedly convinced the prime minister that worsening the terrorists ' conditions would lead to an escalation, to an explosion, to the burning of the Middle East. What's not.On October 7th we discovered the bitter truth: Our enemies need no excuse to carry out a massacre on us and lead to an"escalation." They have one reason for doing so: our existence as Jews. However, after the outbreak of the war, I was finally able to carry out the long-awaited reform. The conditions of the terrorists in the prison were reduced to a minimum: we stopped the financial deposits, we canceled the cantinas for the terrorists, we removed the electrical appliances from the cells, we stopped the terrorists 'promenade, we dramatically reduced the terrorists' stay in the showers, we canceled the speaker's status, we stopped the pampering food menu that was converted to a minimum menu, and in short - we completely stopped the camp conditions.

Terrorists currently released from prison indicate that they will never want to return to Israeli prisons. Israel's prisons are no longer a sad joke. As part of the war, the army made many arrests of terrorists and wanted terrorists in the West Bank, along with many terrorists brought from Gaza. Many of the detainees were housed in a military camp in Yemen, where they were held by the military. Recently, following a petition to the High Court of Justice, lamenting the conditions of the terrorists there, the IDF and Shin Bet rushed to fold, announcing that the conditions of imprisonment there would be reviewed, and that the number of prisoners held there would be reduced. In practice, a situation was created in which because of the harsh living conditions of the prisoners (we're talking about abominable terrorists, right?

There are now 1,500 vacancies in Yemen.Even in the prisons under the responsibility of the IPS, where many terrorists were absorbed, overcrowding was created. But I never thought of releasing terrorists from prison because they are overcrowded. And this is the core of the dispute between me and Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar:Ronen Bar argues that the conditions of terrorists in prison, including overcrowding, look bad in the world, and could lead to an escalation. And I would argue that if every other country in the world had done what was done to us, it would have done more and more in front of those terrorists – and put one big stripe on all the scribblers ' tongues. Crowded? Next time they think twice before they go out to slaughter, rape and pillage. As for the claims by the Shin Bet that the IPS and the Ministry of National Security did nothing to establish and add new places of detention – these are nonsense, which has been fully amplified by the left-wing media. These are the exact facts:

IPS has already begun an accelerated construction project of new prison places, and since October 2,500 new prison places have been added. Another project began last April, and includes the construction of an additional 936 prison places that is currently being carried out, while in addition to the emergency construction during the war, IPS will complete the construction of about 1,200 prison places across the country by the end of the year. All this, along with the fact that since the beginning of the war, the IPS has received a record number of more than 5,000 terrorists arrested by the security forces. It is quite possible that even after the addition of the new prison places is completed, the many terrorists will still be crowded in the prison. I have already proposed a much simpler solution, of legislating the death penalty for terrorists, which would solve the issue of overcrowding – legislation that the Shin Bet also strongly opposes. But until this G-d legislation is passed, nothing will happen if the Nojaba bomber, who on October 7 burned a baby girl, is crowded in the prison cell where he languishes. Share.

Ben the Idiot thinks that everyone his moronic military arrests is a terrorist, whether proven guilty of the offense or not. There are probably more innocents in those prisons than terrorists, since a real terrorist would not be so easy to capture, remain captivated and then not find a way to escape.

Not shocked at all by anything Ben Gvir says, just disgusted with the fact that can say it with impunity knowing that the US is so completely subservient to Israel that there are no limits to what his country can say or do.

Just saw an interview with Scott Ritter recently (George Galloways YT channel). Ritter says that Israel has been working on neutron bombs which they may use against Hezbollah. These can kill large numbers of people, incl underground, with intense radiation that can dissipate within a week and without the large scale physical destruction of conventional nukes. So no huge nuke blast that would generate tons of dust and debris that wind can carry to Israel, just large scale human losses on a local level (Lebanon).

If that ever happens, aside from the large scale loss of life, we will likely also witness the most sick Zio pandering in the US by politicos and the media justifying it on every level.
