Can't wait to pick up the Glock 20C. This will be my first 10mm and it has the factory ported barrel and slide so that should help with recoil a bit.

Last 2 purchases. Ronin back with Springfield Armory. Extractor not doing its job. The big one is fun to shoot. For a few rounds.

How are you taking the pic? Are you just putting your camera on a tripod and shooting video?

My son took the video. These are screen captures from the video. My son is shooting the 45-70 in the pic I posted earlier (I took the video of him obviously) and this is me shooting the DE.

I bought a Marlin 1895SBL and picked up a Glock 20C at the same time. Can’t start the paperwork on the Glock until this weekend though because of stupid CA laws.
Let us know how the 20C handles. My first ever pistol (bought in 1997) was a G17C. Such a smooth shooter, that a beginner can pick it up and not have to fuss with recoil worries. I'd like to know how a more robust round, like a 10mm, handles, with the compensation built in.

I have a Uberti SAA replica in 10mm.

Not your common cowboy six shooter for sure.

It's a stout pistol, but I think a hot 357 kicks more. Both are less than my 629 44mag.

Imo 10mm shoots snappy like 9mm, but with way more kick.

Just got a Dillon press and waded into the world of reloading.

Love my 44 and 357, and so much variety you can try with those rounds. $1/rd for factory 44 was the kick I needed.

I'd like to get a 44 or 45-70 lever rifle for target shooting at some point, and hand loading is the only way it makes sense.

My son shooting the Marlin. It's interesting because a buddy of mine has a Henry lever action rifle that is also chambered in 45-70 Government. It is very similar in looks, stainless steel gun but with black wood stock. His gun is lighter though and it only holds 4 rounds vs the 6 rounds the Marlin holds. The Marlin also manages recoil much better. I could shoot this gun quite a bit more than I could shoot his Henry. We put 20 rounds through it on this day. I don't like the scout scope though so I bought a really nice Leupold VX-3HD 1.5-5x20 scope with illuminated reticle that I'm going to put on it once the rings get here. The scope on it here is a cheap Burris with 1" tube so I need new rings to mount the Leupold as it is a 30mm tube. This rifle deserves a decent scope IMO.

Now I want to buy the Marlin Model 1894 in 44 magnum. My friend just bought one, hasn't shot it yet though. I have a Winchester lever rifle in 44 magnum that I love but there really isn't any way to mount an optic on it and I want an optic on it. The 1894 would be perfect for that.

A friend of mine just picked up the Performance Center 460XVR revolver. It's cool because he can shoot 45 Colt, 460 S&W Magnum or 454 Casull through this gun. His brother has a Freedom Arms 454 Casull and I have a few guns that shoot 45 Colt so we have plenty of ammo we can shoot through it.

Lever rifle is on my perpetual want list that somehow I never get around to buying.I've come close a few times but normally my ADD brain gets distracted and I end up with something else.. some times it's worked out, like when I got the Ruger Precision in 6.5, but other times it's ended that way because of better deals on other handguns.

LGS got me on a father's day sale. Picked up the 44mag S&W 1854 for $1120.

Pic rail, threaded barrel, gold dot peep sight, flat trigger SS and poly furniture. 20" barrel. Mix of modern and traditional. Matches my 629 well.

Holds 9+1 in magnum, I think I fit 11+1 in my 44spl hand loads. Cycled everything well. Fun to shoot.

Considered the more traditional Marlin as well, but I wanted the modern features (but not too much tacticool) and hopefully a 45 can one day.
