you're not a concern troll. you're a literate russian bot.
I must have just read your post just as some cosmic ray hit a nerve cell in my brain scattering electrons willy-nilly and setting off an a cascade of thoughts, weirdness that took the following form: If it waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, it could be a human impersonating a duck. What possible relevance that could have to anything here, I have no idea.

Thread could also be named "US population of 340m people and Trump is the best you've got". Goes both ways, but Trump is clearly worse than Biden overall. One is just an old man. The other is just a plain asshole shitty (also old) human being, putting it nicely.

But yes, overall its a pretty sad affair these were the best 2 the major parties could find to run the most powerful country on the planet.

Okies….

When Russia invades your pathetic island and you cry for help to protect your worthless broke ass isolated island of idiots King Trump will laugh and support Putin.

Not so funny now. How does it feel to be a has been from a has been pathetic little island isolated with bad teeth and only dreams of empire long forgotten.

You won’t be laughing in few years if there is chaos, economic depression and fascist states knock, knock, knocking on your pathetic island’s door. Ass. America burns the world will burn. You are just too stupid to understand that because you dumbasses were already hoodwinked by Putin to leave the European Union.

See, I can make troll comments too. Go back to circle jerking with Putin comrade.

Yeah, he's old. We get it.

So far the alternative is still a Russian asset with full blown dementia, plus the added flair of insurrection and a hatred of NATO. At least Joe's got a record of major wins and accomplishments, rather than a list of indictments and convictions. That goes a long way these days.

You have a funny way of acknowledging risk to your own country. Trump takes power again and you Brexit appreciating folks get to relearn why you need Americans in Europe. I'd rather we not get to that point. Why not instead just appreciate history? Lean into deterrence and make sure fascist adventures in genocide go very, very wrong. We've done it before with splendid results.

That happens if Biden stays in office, not to mention that whole 'democracy continuing to exist' thing. Go read about Project 2025 and tell us how many laughs you get out of it. I'm curious how far this goes with you.

You know it's really okay to admit Biden's not a good candidate and that we are likely moving on so we can beat Trump. It's really okay.

I don't think that guy's a trump supporter if he is then who really gives a shit what he says

Biden's the nominee as of now, hence "so far." Just respecting certain political realities really, it's less about what I want. Since you brought it up though I think it would be really grrreat if you could exercise a little bit of the reading comprehension you demand from others. Hell you could even do a search on this forum, find out that my primary concern of Biden back in 2020 was *drum roll* his age. I mean, since you're ignoring or cherrypicking what I've said about him in the last few months, maybe you'd prefer some stuff from my earlier, "pre cult" days? My preference has been and still is a GenX ticket, but as I said earlier; Biden, not Biden, Trump still loses. The only poll that matters is the one in November at the ballot box.

It's not so much me giving a shit what Rich says, more just me being amused at the history fail, also over the odds of him having even noticed when Trump speaks like Obama is still in office, or his opponent. Should we place bets? Maybe if he was an American on this side of the pond during 2016-2020 he'd be less moved by incorrect names. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe Rich absolutely lost his shit when Trump called Nikki Halley Nancy Pelosi, for instance. I doubt it though.

It’s not trolling, kiddo.

It’s further substantiating my point.

I’m not a fan of Trump, and yes, Trump is bad for the UK and EU. I was hoping you’d have a better challenger to Trump. Biden doesn’t appear to be it, but fingers crossed he still wins. 😉

Biden sucked at the debate, but debating isn't why I voted for him. While there are better potential candidates out there. He's doing a good job as president. I know MAGAs claim otherwise. But the numbers show Biden is handling business. Would I like someone better than Biden? Well I don't want Trump and Trump aside, there are plenty of other potential candidates who would be worse than Biden.

so I guess today my glass is half full.

It would have been awesome if Biden had realized he needed to help transition to a younger leader at the beginning of his first term. Hell, at 68 I know I have to step aside and let a gen x or millennial or even gen z take over my job. I can’t imagine trying to lead the free world at 85!

I just read somewhere that humility is a great quality in a leader, but imo it is unfortunately somewhat at odds with having the extreme self-confidence that is also needed and Biden has, as we see now, to a fault. But he is a politician’s politician and he arose because we couldn’t agree on a candidate in 2016. But I think everyone knew it was a stopgap for 4 years, Shirley not good for 8. But whomever the candidate is, I agree that Potted Plant [D] needs to win!

Joe screwed up again at the news conference, I still believe they're going to take him out.

Joe is indeed the best person running right now. Unfortunately if he and his family doesn't want him to be taken out it makes it difficult. it's already stupid late in the game for a switch, and yes he should have only been POTUS for four years to begin with, though I voted for someone else in the first place during the primaries. But this is the chance you take when you elect a 78 year person to an 8 year job. How sharp is your typical 86 year old, which is what Biden would be in his last year of office if he wins. Ludicrous.

Russia will not likely invade the 3rd Nation to develop and test nuclear weapons unless something goes horribly, horribly wrong (WW3 happens)
Which admittedly is a possibility but hopefully still a rather low one. Despite all the handwringing over the current election campaign in the U.S.
