The border not being secured is a biggie as I work with veterans so we all see security issues in the same light irrespective of party. Also Joe's physical and mental decline has been very obvious for some time now and that cannot be covered up. Sure some outlets will skew videos to try to make it look extra bad but their candidate has shown many of the same traits over the years as well. Was there any substance to their complaints about his performance prior to the debate, as in, did they take issue with any of the administration's legislative actions, or is it just a vague "he's just not doing a good enough job"?
What counts as a secure border? 0 people crossing into the country? Conservatives do fuck all to actually secure the border. Biden handed them everything they wanted and Trump torpedoed it.The border not being secured is a biggie as I work with veterans so we all see security issues in the same light irrespective of party. Cost of living is a major issue with everyone as we're all impacted by it. While COVID did have a negative impact on our economy many companies have poured on the greed during this administration further accentuating it. Housing prices and insurance costs have spiraled out of control during this administration not to mention car insurance has as well. Utility bills continue to rise too and everybody at work complains about these issues.
Another thing us old veterans aren't going for is the pride push. They get an entire month and we only get a day so go figure. Then there's the EV disaster...keep your electrons to yourself and stop trying to force them on people. Because of that prices of all cars have skyrocketed as manufacturers try to pad profits on ICE vehicles to pay for electrification pricing the majority of working people out of the market. I would love to have a new truck but when I look at those prices....no thanks!
The economy is not doing good and even the service sector is bleeding jobs now. Foreclosures, repos, personal and corporate bankruptcies are on the rise as are store closures none of which bodes well. Stellantis is about to dump more workers this month and I don't think that the federal government should rescue them or any car company again.
Puffy is pretty facts immune. Dude still thinks Reagan got the Iran hostages released instead of prolonging their captivity for political gain. What counts as a secure border? 0 people crossing into the country? So you want the government to enact price controls? Because otherwise there is little any president can do here. That's just companies being greedy. If you want less expensive housing then supply needs to meet demand. We're nowhere near that.
How many LGBTQ people get discounts when they buy stuff? "Thank you for your service" everywhere they go? Acknowledgments at spring events? Are conservatives trying to outlaw your existence?
Good news there are plenty of vehicles at the 20-30k price range brand new. Even the Chevy bolt is only $27k before the tax credit. Just don't buy a truck you don't need but once a year. If you're buying for your preferences, then your paying a premium on them instead of buying what you actually need. All manufacturers are going for the SUV/CUV segment because that's where the most sales and profits are. Or buy a gently used car. I got my Mazda 3 a year old for $15k. Sticker brand new was 22k at the time.
Overall the economy is doing pretty well. Unemployment numbers are still very good. Companies laying of people is obviously not good (especially tech companies which is often pure greed) but again not something the government controls. Certainly not the president. If you want better employee protections then you should be voting for people who enact laws as such and support unionization.
My bad! Sorry!I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was just saying it wasn't a presidential election year. I didn't think there was enough info in your statement to me to find it by searching. Thanks for providing the year so I can look it up.

The good news is that Trump has lots of appealing economic policy on tap like tariffs that will raise the cost of everything and more corporate tax cuts. If he takes over the Fed and slashes rates to almost nothing people will see what real 50% inflation looks like.
But that's like rocket science to 70% of America who have no clue about cause and effect.
Sounds like he's continuing his push rightward that he did when trying to beat rightwing extremist lunatic J.D. Vance for an Ohio Senate seat.Tim Ryan a Democratic congressman from Ohio for 20 years until last year, has openly called for Biden to step down and Harris to replace him. The shit show begins folks!
Everyone uses a teleprompter or notes of some sort for public speaking. This is nothing unusual in any sort of public speaking. At a private fund raising event this weekend, Biden used a teleprompter for his 15 minute speech (this was an informal speech to some deep pocket donors). Not the best way to inspire confidence in light of his current situation.
But according to Anthony Scaramucci, he did read it quite well.

May is military appreciation month lmao, weird that you and other "veterans" are so concerned about Pride month you didn't even know this. The border not being secured is a biggie as I work with veterans so we all see security issues in the same light irrespective of party. Yeah, everyone in the pundit class likes to jerk off over the most asinine things.Scaramucci's post quickly went viral.
"He uses a teleprompter at a fundraiser?" former CNN host Brian Stelter reacted.
"A teleprompter at a fundraiser??" former Rep. Scott Taylor, R-Va., exclaimed.
"Nothing inspires confidence like having to use a teleprompter for a few minutes of remarks at a fundraiser," Denver radio host Ross Kaminsky wrote.
"If he’s using a teleprompter at a fundraiser, everything else written here is irrelevant," CNN contributor Shermichael Singleton said. "Why would he need to be scripted at a private, closed-off event with a small number of people? Having worked for three presidential candidates and one president, I have never seen any of them use a teleprompter at private fundraisers—there’s simply never been a need. Clearly, the perpetual reliance on scripting the POTUS is done for a reason, and it’s not a good one."

AFAIK Trump uses prepared remarks for his but often veers off them (hard to believe).
I mean, there was a bipartisan bill put together for the border that Trump torpedoed, but okay, that's Biden's fault. The border not being secured is a biggie as I work with veterans so we all see security issues in the same light irrespective of party. So... mostly no, not specific legislative actions, just wishy-washy "do better!" That is more or less what I expected.Cost of living is a major issue with everyone as we're all impacted by it. Every fuckin' year this shit comes out of them, and every year they "forget" this. I've got a bunch of older veterans in my family too, but they don't whine about Pride month because they're not stupid. My dad probably does, but he's a homophobe like Puffnstuff.May is military appreciation month lmao, weird that you and other "veterans" are so concerned about Pride month you didn't even know this.

Biden has a stutter. He doesn't always do well speaking off the cuff. This is nothing new. One of the ways he has learned to cope with his stutter is to have prepared remarks that he has practiced and edited to avoid words that can trip him up.This was a quick informal speech to small crowd (around 40 people) at a private fund raiser... If you can't see the difference, I don't know what to tell you.
Mr Squished wasn't lying about the Biden cultists here who can't see why using a teleprompter in this setting isn't a good sign.
