A private call with his National Finance Committee, which includes hundreds of top Democratic donors and bundlers isn't really "in private".

The forceful message from Biden — which was delivered to hundreds of top Democratic donors and bundlers in the president's National Finance Committee — is the latest evidence that the president and his allies are working furiously to stem defections in the party.

Trump retweets images of Biden bound and gagged, ready for execution. State legislators publish TV adds with sights over their democratic opponents, ready to blow their heads off. All across the absolute worst parts of the country, and these self-described "christians" eat it up. Violence and murder was always Jesus' way, of course.
Over and over and over again, without fail.

Not a word from human garbage like this guy ^ "It's just normal politics in these divided times"

Biden says "bullseye" to basically no one, and then these fucking simps start unloading their guts into every last diaper.

Seek help for your utterly broken brain.

“He first aroused suspicion when he passed through the magnetometers carrying a rangefinder, which looks similar to a small pair of binoculars and is used by hunters and target shooters to measure distances when setting up a long-range shot, according to a senior law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.”

“…around the same time witnesses alerted police that Crooks was crawling on the roof of the American Glass Research building, one of the four counter-sniper teams observed Crooks looking at their position through the rangefinder, according to the senior law enforcement official.

“They were looking at him while he was looking at them,” the official said.”

I assume you mean the last line of the amendment. However, one could still argue that a 2x elected President could be eligible for a third term by taking over due to death or incapacity, since they wouldn't be "elected" to a third term. The 22nd amendment only says a president cannot be elected to a third term. It is splitting hairs, but we have seen already that Trump will twist the rules to take advantage of any possible loophole, and who knows what the Supreme Court, who are in his back pocket, would allow.
In this case they'd run an election, then just claim widespread fraud, then leaves Trump president while "they figure out what happened." Regardless, this supreme court would find some reason the 22nd didn't apply or couldn't be enforced.

I don’t remember the source but I recall reading the police were staged IN the building he was ON TOP of too? With a police sniper team on the second floor

It’s almost like a Monty Python skit the level of incompetency

It is right in this video. They didn't want to be on the roof because it was to hot.

I saw it mentioned on Twitter via a CNN article that the USSS previously warned the Trump campaign about the security risks of these open air events and that arenas were preferred. But arenas cost money, and it seems like the Trump campaign wants to cheap out on rally venue fees.

And since they were in a solid red area, probably less concerned. lol it would actually be safer to rally in blue areas.

Seth Meyers new one, this is well thought out, articulate, well delivered and conscionable. Just watched the whole thing, I thoroughly recommend it:

I say this with conviction, sincerely. I wish I could say that competency is commonplace in America. In my experience it's hard to find... anywhere in America. Of course, I'm a man of little experience. I'm sure it exists some places. I hope to find it, but have NO EXPECTATIONS.

For all we know, the son was just your bog standard, young wannabe mass shooter. Could just be that the cop investigating the roof surprised him, he then felt rushed, missed his shots, and got blown away by USSS for his troubles.

(Ultimately, the other big problem is something conservatives have foisted on us over 30 years: easier access and more widespread availability of firearms).

Like I said, "conservative incel".

as of your post he didn't talk to a single one of them. not one.

and lol if he's "organizing" a gofundme for...who? Do you think he's going to steal all of that money like he did for his "cancer kids" charity?

This is something that he does. He's human garbage, and he does it out in the open. The fact that you somehow think Trump is being generous here is a sad indictment on how unfixable you are. Seek help.
As far as anything I've seen reported, your first statement is true. I've not heard any reason as to why but he has since spoken with the wife of the victim who was killed. It's understandable to me why she declined to speak with Biden and may not have taken calls from anyone for the first few days. I've not seen any reporting as to whether he's spoken to the other victims but I've not looked into it either.

As to the GoFundMe, everything you've said is nothing more than hate filled speculation. I'm not speculating as to his motives on the GoFundMe but I do assume, with the publicty and level of funding, it will go to the intended victims.

I admit my choice of topics for comment are based on personal bias but I do try to keep my comments based in fact and leave feelings out. Can you say the same?

I don't get angry about opinions that I don't agree with. If it was something that bothered me I sure as hell wouldn't hang out around here.
I have decided that Trump should be back in the White House, and that decision was in no small part due to what I read here. It's like looking for the negative reviews on a product I'm considering buying, I look for the reasons behind the complaint. That's often just as telling as the glowing recommendations. The other side of that is that there is no compelling reason support Biden, the man is in serious decline and not up to the task.
Funny, you had some of us convinced you might have turned the corner and weren't going to vote for Trump. A lot of people here said you would inevitably convince yourself to vote for him a third time, guess they were right.

All indications so far that America has just basically shrugged at this event despite the breathless media coverage about its political impact.

In one interview Biden got asked about the attempt helping Trump and his response was "I don't know that and neither do you". Haven't agreed with him so strongly on something recently.

Between our firm opinions of him (for or against), being used to gun violence, and the general boredom with something that almost happened but didn't the needle so far has not even budged.

So the best way to boost Trump's chances of winning the election is for Republicans to keep shooting at him? I'm okay with this election strategy.

I am curious what Trump's next public appearances besides the convention are going to look like. There could be a bit of an...aversion...to his favored outdoor venue format now on his part. Not to mention the delayed psychological impact of knowing that every time you step in front of a microphone there is a non-zero chance that it could be your last.

People want to hang Pence for turning on Trump. People want to shoot Trump for being Trump…

I wonder how JD is really feeling about all of this.

The choice is clear. The guy who is slow, blanks out on occasion but has the interest of the country at heart vs the completely corrupt criminal who attempted a coup by stealing a free and fair election. Biden had good and competent people around him vs Trump who has criminals around him (people tried and convicted)

Not a great choice but there is only one of them who will do the right thing for the country

Just imagining the people in this thread voting for guy who was cool with his own VP being killed on Jan 6.

Does that voter really care about the country.
