Does AF beer count as pop? I drink a lot of that. Big drop do some that are indistinguishable to real beer!
Red can or blue can?The cola that should be on the list that is excellent is RC Cola. Not quite as good as an ice cold coke but it's very good. Dr. Pepper products are great in the Zero and diet arena compared to other diet drinks. Moutain Dew when it contained real sugar was very good. 7up and Sprite are good and a coin flip between the two.
The term is Soda Pop. But in the southern states everything is called a coke. So you can say soda or pop and it's the same thing.
I bought a gigantic box at Costco, must be 5 pounds. At the rate I go through it, shouldn't run out until 2300.Is this thread about pop maybe?
The best Soda is Arm and Hammer.
I dont know of any other brands of soda.
the only coke that still is *real* coke is the yellow cap coke you get during passover. https://www.thekitchn.com/kosher-for-passover-coca-cola-23138910
my tier for fizzy drinks is
1. chinotto neri / chin8
2. orangina
3. sparkling water
4. i'd rather just drink water thank you
Really? You're going No True Scotsman when everyone knows "real" Coca Cola had cocaine?.. sorry to break it to you ..
it used to be, but it no longer is. And, this is now an internet myth, you'll probably get a ton of bad results online, but aside from the special Passover run, no coke is produced anywhere in the world with cane sugar. The "yellow cap" is the last bastion of real coke.
Canadian coke is made with HFCS. Every soda here is except diet sodas. Diet sodas have a choice of either aspartame or sucralose. Some have stevia, yuck.So is Canadian. I don't understand the point of keeping sugar price high. Not like it's really a strategic reserve anymore.
don't try me.Really? You're going No True Scotsman when everyone knows "real" Coca Cola had cocaine?
In 2013, a Mexican Coca-Cola bottler announced it would stop using cane sugar in favor of glucose-fructose syrup, to comply with changes to the Mexican food labeling law. It later clarified this change would not affect those bottles specifically exported to the United States as "Coca-Cola Nostalgia" products.
Bitch, I put the exact correct amount of cocaine in every yellow cap I drink.don't try me.
Coke has not had any cocaine in it since 1904 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coca-Cola#Use_of_stimulants_in_formula
Nobody here has ever tried coca cola with coke, unless they did their own makeshift spiked coke. And you know very well we're talking about the "real sugar" coke, the one made with sugar cane syrup, rather than corn syrup, within this context. And while the myth of the Mexican Coke still exists,

You want real coke, wait until April, and then go shopping.
sugar/glucose-fructose = HFCS.
I beg to differ. Here is my Mexican Coke... sorry to break it to you ..

Pepsi removed the brominated vegetable oil so it's no worse than other pops.I drink Diet Dew because it wins several awards for being the worst pop for you overall. And pop is short for soda pop, didn't you read the book?
is it the import-only "nostalgia Coke" as per article above? If so, lucky you that you can get it. Because these aren't sold in regular shops.I beg to differ. Here is my Mexican Coke.
(by the way, i didn't know these were a thing until today)In 2013, a Mexican Coca-Cola bottler announced it would stop using cane sugar ... It later clarified this change would not affect those bottles specifically exported to the United States as "Coca-Cola Nostalgia" products.[4]
Damn it. The ORs always get me.sugar/glucose-fructose = HFCS.
I think my friend @faxon orders a bunch of them on Amazon. They do mention real sugar on the ingredients I believe.is it the import-only "nostalgia Coke" as per article above? If so, lucky you that you can get it. Because these aren't sold in regular shops.

Pops? You mean like ring pops? Bomb pop? Freeze pop?Pepsi removed the brominated vegetable oil so it's no worse than other pops.
I've bought some glass bottles of Mexican Coke locally in 2022 and sugar was on the ingredients list. IIRC so was HFCS.I think my friend @faxon orders a bunch of them on Amazon. They do mention real sugar on the ingredients I believe.
Ask for a soda in a UK pub and youre going to get fizzy tap water.Pops? You mean like ring pops? Bomb pop? Freeze pop?
Do you want a pop? <--ambiguous: could refer to many things other than soda pop.
Do you want a soda? <--unambiguous: nobody is going to think "does he mean baking soda? soda bread?" These are the questions of the mentally ill.
Do you want a coke? <--Yes. "Okay what kind of coke do you want?" What? Absolutely brain dead way of speaking, insane people deliberately causing confusion for sane people.
