It's like we're on different planets lol. Early August is the absolute peak of summer heat in South Texas and a time I dread every year. You never want to be outside longer than the time to get to your car between 11AM and sunset. Though our July has been quite tame, only supposed to get to temps from 84-89F (29-32C) this week which is very low for late July here. In July 2023 we were more like 102-104F (39-40C).22C right now but going to go down to 15 overnight. Almost August, so we're at that point where the days are cooler, shorter, and nights start to get colder. It's crazy it's already near the end as it feels like it just started.
Good time of year to get stuff outside done though.

It peaks in mid - late July here. August is usually pretty nice - cool nights and warm days. Things start going downhill around mid September. It's like we're on different planets lol.
