I'd be curious to know what your impressions of battery life are.Got my laptop today, so far very happy with it. It's the 365/24G model from Bestbuy. Looks great, great display on it. Putting it though its paces a bit and there is only very light fan noise so that's good. Definitely some warmth on the upper part of the chassis however, where the extraction cut out is.
Ram config is 4x6 so it maintains full dual channel, not flex mode which is good.
Zenbook S16? I really wonder why there were no reviews today.
Zenbook S16 prices in Germany are just a big nope, 1699€ for the 365 24GB Model and 2099€ for the 370 32GB Model.Edit: $1400 is a lot of cheddar.
That meme is on the verge of NSFW.AI is only good for one thing
are we expecting the review embargo on Zen 5 laptops to end tmmrw?BB says release date is tomorrow.

Benchmark requests!Got my laptop today, so far very happy with it. It's the 365/24G model from Bestbuy.
Why you no call in sick and take the day off?I haven't had much of a chance to look at it sadly. Just a quick run through its paces and then a bunch of updates (including a bios update)
Weird. I thought it made sense with so many screwy conditionals.Yottabit was pretty clearly joking............

It was a joke but it wasn’t meant to be (at least completely) at your expense. No one would ever intentionally add branchiness to their code to “optimize”, but branchy code is (at least on paper) where I’d expect to see the greatest uplift from the new Zen5 frontend.Weird. I thought it made sense with so many screwy conditionals.
Stinky Pinky! Can you do 4GHz R23 ST run, please?Yeah that's the model. I was surprised it arrived today also, it was supposed to come tomorrow.
what model do you have for that score ? And its an ES, right ?Silverbench P60424 Normal , X5194 Extreme
Cinebench 14242 Multicore singlepass
Instead of real 8-wide, they split it up into two 4-wides. I think they did it that way for SMT uplift so that the virtual core can boost some other branchy thread in parallel. An optimization could be that you deliberately write code that tries to stay within L2 cache and uses thread synchronization between the real and virtual core to eat its way through gobs of data.a CPU that excels on unoptimized, branchy code.
No. It's a release laptop. An ASUS OLED with 50 TOPS AI power.what model do you have for that score ? And its an ES, right ?
These scores are on battery with balanced profile?Silverbench P60424 Normal , X5194 Extreme
