Rough news. All things must pass, I guess.
When I was in high school, we (my friend group) used this and Xtremesystems as our "bible and guide" to overclocking, modifying, or analyzing tech/pc hardware. We all slowly stopped using the site as much because other alternatives came along (as well as us upgrading less often due to age/responsibilities). I will say the big turning point for us was around the time when Anand left and it just kinda became "as good" as alternatives if not worse. I'm not sure what it was, but it lost the homey, close-knit vibe that originally brought my friends to post here in OT.
It also doesn't help that Reddit has come along and offers the same thing as many forums did, but in one easy-to-use platform (same layout, less obvious ads, one account). At the moment there's really no reason to go to specific forums (for me atleast) unless it's very niche or worth it.
Sucks, but I hope everyone else has found an alternative or side-place besides ATOT like many have over the past decade. So many memories, growing experiences, and great chats were had here and I'll miss it.
