Especially if the employer doesn’t have to contribute to the pool…then employees can lobby to get any employer paid health care insurance costs paid to them…

Am curious how they calculate that $32 trillion figure (which, I note, is "over ten years" - not sure why they don't use a per-year figure, unless there is a specific issue of start-up costs?).

I assume it is taking into account the reduction in costs from monopoly purchasing power and economies-of-scale?
