antenna connectors wrong size (replacing old WiFi card)

I'm replacing the 4965AGN in my old laptop with a 9260NG.

I got an adapter to make it work with the older interface, but now another problem: the two antenna plugs (MAIN and AUX) on the new card are a slightly smaller size/diameter than the older standard, it seems, meaning I can't get the antenna wires I have to plug into it, as they can't grip onto the smaller diameter plugs.

I'm too new to soldering to even consider it, so I need some kind of adapter or something I figure. Does such a thing exist?

There's two sizes it's either mhf1 or MHF4. 4 is the current size for most antenna connectors.

Any way to measure it reliably? I'd hate to get the wrong size adapters.

Like, I don't have calipers lying around.

I'm obviously looking for reliable data online on which standard each card uses, but yeah.

So I confirmed the newer one is MHF4.

If someone knows or finds what the Intel 4965AGN uses, let me know.

Well, if the current ones are too big then it's going to be the smaller MHF4.

MHF4 = 1/8th inch
MHF1 = 1/4 inch

Not quite that big in size but, the older MHF1 connectors are easy to handle and the 4's are really small and finicky.

Usually you find the 1'ss on older mpcie cards vs the newer M2 options using 4.

Just to clarify: U.FL == MHF1 ?

One last question...

The connectors on the cards are male, and the ends of the antennas themselves are female, right?

Ipex/mhf1/PCIE

Male/female... The cable should have a hole as the card has a pin.
