I also picked up starcom space unknown, star trucker, x4 foundations and the crust during the steam sale. Starcom looks really interesting and pretty simple to get into. I may start with that and see how it is although star trucker also sounds fun.

Ah, I'm probably even more comical. At some point, I'm going to play BGs 1 & 2's enhanced edition. Picked it up some time ago on GOG for about $5 bucks on sale. I'd rather replay that than some of the modern games I'm seeing today.

Not at all. I was playing until the client stopped working for me for whatever reason, despite my best efforts to fix it. So I moved on to other games. But I enjoyed my ARAMs!

This thread had me log onto GOG and had forgotten how many games I had purchased on sale over the years. It would take me at least a year or two to play or replay them; combined with Fromsoft's next game (as a gamer, there is nothing like the anticipation for a new Fromsoft game), Lies of P DLC, and the next Wukong based on a general with more robust combat. I'll just have to build a powerhouse PC to play those games the way I want to.

In so many ways, the older games are so much better than many of the newer ones, at least for me.

Quick question.

Are we able to utilize various mods with games purchased on Steam? Of course, in the past before all of this online digital stuff, I used to utilize mods extensively on my games. Brings back fond memories of Falcon 4.0!

Steam supports both mods from the Steam Workshop and third-party mods. If you're going to download third-party through a site like Nexus or ModDB, then you just need to make sure you read thoroughly in case there's separate download and/or installation instructions since a lot of games are available on Steam as well as GoG (or other distributors).

yeah, I like ARAMs most now. I can't get enough of it.

Completed Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 last evening and started Evil West on PC today. From the 30 minutes or so I have played so far this seems like it's going to be a fun game to play! The combat and gun-play is very fluid and game looks lovely.
