Yes, you have a point, and I sometimes think about it.Bone conduction or not, if you can hear the music well, it will still mask ambient noises and dangers. I wouldn't do it, you are already vulnerable enough as a cyclist... unless you exclusively use bike paths that aren't just lanes beside the roadway that cars are on.
Then again you aren't familiar with the routes I have available, nor am I yours.
