Just ordered these. Been eyeing them for a long time. Saw a friend at a wedding over the weekend that had the british tan ones and he said they're super comfortable. I needed a black pair so I pulled the trigger on these. Will report back when I get them and try them on.

Funny, I think I have these: https://www.colehaan.com/mens-modern-classics-cap-toe-oxfords/C38761.html (they were also only like $100 when I bought them). They were super comfortable when I bought a pair in brown for my wedding ~5 years ago.

Because I liked them so much, I also got them in black. Then COVID happened and any business travel I had dropped from a few times a year to 0; and for whatever reason, now when I wear either set of shoes, I need to put a moleskin patch on the vertical inside part of my heel, otherwise I get wicked blisters. Maybe too much time working from home (>6 years now) and not wearing dress shoes really did a number on my feet. Perhaps I need a shoe that better fits my foot, but I'm not going to drop a bunch of money when a few dollars of moleskin can give me many days of shoe wearing.

Tickets to see Marilyn Manson at Shoreline Amphitheater .
Five finger Death Punch was the Headliner...but not sure why as Manson gripped the arena but his set was cut short due to to time so did not get to hear Coma White.

We saw him in...2019. If you could even consider it a performance. He was out of it from the start and only managed to get through 4 songs. His PR crew attributed it to 'heat exhaustion'.

Bitch.

Definitely drugs.

He put on an excellent show. He definitely has his shit in order today and his new music tracks he's released are fantastic. Raise the Red Flag & As Sick The Secrets Within.

Channeling the anger from his ex.

Tickets to see the Marley Brothers!

I've seen Stephen before but was most excited to see Ziggy and was hoping for some of his OG work but this tour was mainly a celebration of their Dad's music. Damien, Ziggy, Stephen, Julian and Ky-Mani all took center stage and captivated the crowd through 26 tracks!

Summer amphitheater concert season is just about wrapped up here but it was another great year of supporting artists!

Those are some nice dress shoes. Weird that your feet have changed a bit post-covid but I can see it happening if you haven't had the need to wear them all the time. The pair I got arrived last Thursday and I've been wearing them everyday since. Really comfortable and will most likely get a brown pair of some sort shortly if they remain on sale.

I think the big thing is a combination of sock choice and not wearing them all the time. It's pretty annoying because they give me these horrible blisters on the inside part of my foot just above the heel - like a sign of heal slipping or something. Glad I found that I could preemptively wear some moleskin on the problem spot and keep wearing them.

But I also think it would be hard for me to identify a new shoe since the problem I have only crops up after wearing them for a day or so.

Do you have another house for all your saws?
It's getting close! I debated awhile on buying this one. I have a use for an electric saw, but not a *need*. What pushed me to buy was it came with a free battery, so I figured I'd get it while I could. My only other electric tool is a Dewalt impact driver I found in the road, so I'd have to get a Milwaukee battery some way.

My biggest interest is in having it near the chipper for quick trims. Otherwise, I have to figure out what it's place is in the lineup. It'll occasionally be useful having a saw that isn't deafening. Maybe it'll be a house saw, and I'll move my ms170 to the truck. Or maybe it'll be a bigger saw to keep in the truck, and I'll get rid of Ol' Smokey that I found in the trash. Not sure, but I think it'll be good having an electric saw available. Someone from another forum is gonna send me a charger, so I won't have to worry about that.

edit:
Here's the list of saws I have...

In active use(smallest to largest)...

echo 2511t
stihl ms170
echo 355t
echo cs400
echo cs490
stihl ms362
stihl ms661

the new Milwaukee

Saws that need to be repaired(smallest to largest)...

echo 2511t
poulanpro pr4218
stihl ms026

Junk that doesn't work, or barely works...

Some kind of fake(Taiwanese) mcculloch I found in the trash(Ol' Smokey)
poulanpro pr5020. Broken and barely works. It came off the factory floor barely working. Junk. I found that in the trash also.

I hear the M18 saw is pretty good as far as electrics go, so pretty nice purchase. Now you need to get more Milwaukee tools now that you are into that platform.

Will come in handy for quick jobs where you don't want to startup a gas one just for a few cuts. Although I'm still on 100% electric as far as saws go and it's actually been good enough for felling, bucking etc. My main saw now is the Greenworks 80v 18". We don't get the kind of big trees you have though, most trees that I've cut are less than a foot in diameter with the oddball bigger ones.

I have a DeWalt cordless chainsaw. I have other DeWalt tools and charger so stuck with that brand. Just about adequate for my needs. It turned out to have more balls than I expected, but you really need at least one extra battery ready to go, more like two.
