7.62x39, especially past 300m, is an entirely different matter. Been awhile since I did any distance shooting with 7.62x39, probably 2 or 3 years now. I do remember at 450ish yards the bullet drop was something like 5-6ft. Gotta lob'em in there, like rocks. Trump is lucky he only seems to be attracting the ire of amateurs, so far.
An experienced patriot who knows how to plan and handle a sighted in .300Winmag? Different results I'd wager, and it would be just... like, idk, terrible. I guess.

I think a 7.62 x 51 with an AK47 is a poor choice beyond 200m but use that same bullet with an M24.. and you can hit a watermelon at 800 meters easy with some skill.
