One student from Swarthmore College (my alma mater) came dressed as a tree with a sign saying, "Stop me before I kill again" referencing Reagan's famous remark. The SS arrested him . . . I guess on the pretext that his sign was a death threat.
Another group of Swarthmore students did some guerilla theater, winding up the crowd with right wing chants that then became increasing stupid, ending with a rousing NUKE THE WALES.

The ego exists to camouflage self hate. I bet in you could get a real history of those people you would find they were conditioned to behave as children by threat never to be deviant, that any wondering off the conservative path of normalcy would land them in hell. For them to see who Trump really is would produce intolerably painful psychological dissonance and that sense of self importance they feel in towing the line is what keeps them in a delusional state.I'd like to add that, although there will probably be some cranked up yahoos there, most of the folks I've run into who then reveal they're for Trump have startled me for being seemingly sane, not unintelligent folks.
