Kind of sad seeing them fly hopelessly up and down the tunnels, but they aren't the smartest birds. One time I saw a group of five of them in the street chowing down on a piece of pizza that had been dropped. The stoplight changed and a car came and ran two of them over. The other three flew away and after the car had passed they flew right back down to the pizza and started chowing down on the pizza again right next to their two dead colleagues as if nothing had happened.I've encountered pigeons on the tube a couple of times.
