Board: ASUS B650 TUF GAMING, latest BIOS
SSDs: 2x 4TB Samsung 990 PRO, both on latest firmware
No other devices connected
CrystalDiskInfo reports one of the drives running at PCIe 4 x4, the other at PCIe 4 x2. I've tried switching the sockets they're connected to, the one in M2_2 went to M2_1, and M2_3 went to M2_2.
From the manual:
OS is Windows Server 2022. There is a software RAID1 mirror set up in Windows and I suspect that I'll have to sacrifice it and/or the whole install to try and figure this one out, but any easier suggestions would be appreciated.
The BIOS options allow one to change the PCIE gen setting for each PCIE/M.2 slot but not whether it's x4/x2 etc. I've tried forcing Gen 4 right across the board but Gen 4 isn't really the problem here
