Everything has issues tbf not just Intel even AMD and Nvidia it's how fast they resolve itView attachment 109071
Seems Battlemage is different enough from Alchemist that it has issues of its own not faced by Alchemist.
The Mighty ARC continues to perform better when taxed more
Some are overhead, but lot of them are hardware not being able to be fully utilized without feeding a high demand workload, which Battlemage architecture improves. It's an indication that they have a lot of overhead.
EXCELLENT FIND!
It won't be surprising to see Battlemage, it's just that they'll only release mid-range according to the rumors. The fastest one on the level of RTX 4070 Ti is supposed to be Q2 of next year.New Copium Dropped
Intel To Provide Next-Gen Core Ultra Series 2 Mobile & Client Graphics Updates on 29th October, Arc Battlemage Imminent?

Xe3 dGPUs cancelled according to Exist50:
He says Xe4 has a dGPU version.Disappointing, but also, hardly surprising.
Xe3 is in Falcon Shores and PTL and is across both Intel 3 and N3E process i just know the XMX Unit Operatins from LeaksHe says Xe4 has a dGPU version.
The surprising thing is he said Xe3/Celestial is the one that had actual big changes and a real fix unlike the much more modest one in Battlemage. Battlemage seems significant so if Celestial's changes make it seem BMG is modest, then it's a half braindead move.
Intel will not bring GPU back inhouse till 18AP/14A at the earliest they will fab smaller die on their own process thoughIf it truly is cancelled I suspect the issue might be that it will be on an intel process instead of TSMC and said process that isn't good enough for bigger dies.

I think it's much simpler, since even Celestial was supposed to be on TSMC's process, some N3 variant. The cancellation might have to do with fab availability. Myabe they were planning to use 18A but there won't be enough capacity by then, or maybe they were planning to use TSMC's N2 and the wafers are too expensive to make it worthwhile.
Wow, it went from 3fps to 4fps?!
Ha ha. I'm sure the ARC driver team will be amusedWow, it went from 3fps to 4fps?!
The amount of progress made since the initial reviews of the cards bought from China is nothing short of astonishing. How good ray tracing and hardware upscaling is for the first gen has surprised the hell out of me over the course of ownership. I had more than a few "Well I'll be damned!" moments while testing games.Ha ha. I'm sure the ARC driver team will be amused
