These kinds of posts are hilarious considering they’re coming from people who are NOT advocating for a peace agreement which would end the war and in turn end the death associated with war, but are instead advocating for continued shipments of artillery which only prolongs this war that Ukraine can’t win, and in turn leads to more senseless death and the destruction of Ukraine.

So spare me your crocodile tears bud.

Besides, there is only one person on this thread who has been advocating for a peace agreement since this conflict began.

Looks like Donald Trump's been giving you lessons on how to dodge bullets aimed at your earlobes. Ferrari355 has got you cornered with his post. I await your next song and dance to shuffle your way around it like you did mine. lol

Putin seems to be having more success in the political domain than on the battlefield. Austria seems to have joined Hungary and Slovakia on his 'team'.

I guess the biggest battle of the Ukraine war is going to happen on the 5th of November?

As a fellow lover of peace I have some great news for you. The war could be over today, all that needs to happen is for Russia to stop the illegal invasion of its neighbor. They can just go home.

Cyka and his long term delusion over making peace agreements with dictators who don't honor them, haha! Makes me think he should get tested for syphilis.

The ignorance of history and complete lack of critical thinking skills while advocating for pure evil - how Trumpy. You're not putting on bronzer and a diaper too, are you cyka? How far does your mimicry of greasy demented fascism go I wonder?

Victoria Roshchyna dies in Russian captivity

"Roshchyna, who would have turned 28 this month, was one of 20 Ukrainian journalists detained by Russia for their reporting since the start of Russia’s invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, according to RSF. She was known for her features documenting daily life in Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine, went missing on Aug. 3, 2023, while traveling on assignment to the Russian-occupied town of Zaporizhzhia, according to the International Women's Media Foundation. Her whereabouts were unknown for eight months until Russia’s Defense Ministry confirmed her detention in April 2024."

All part of the plan to silence Ukrainians forever. Tortured and raped, repeatedly, then left to die of her injuries and infection I'm guessing. No need for poison here. RIP Victoria, heroyam slava

Fuck you Putin, and may the fuck be upon your fascist followers too.

Russia has a lot of control ($$$) over Central Europe. And some supposed EU / NATO members.

Funny enough much of this agreement probably depends on Ukraine being cooperative and not ending Russian gas transit as planned at the end of the year. The Russians are paying Kyiv a billion a year for the use of their pipelines to supply gas to Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria. TurkStream is technically an alternative but it doesn't have the available capacity to shift more than a relatively small amount of this over.

1: They are absolutely talking about TurkStream.
2: Hungary would love to have Russia take Ukraine.

More signals from the Baltics. These are from the the "Defending Baltics" conference;

  • if Russian forces cross the border into Lithuania, within the "first minute," allies will target all of Russia’s strategic assets within a 300-kilometer radius.
  • an attack on the Baltic states or Poland would signal the "beginning of total confrontation."
  • the Baltic states would need to respond immediately, without waiting for NATO’s decision under Article 5 on collective defense

The Nordic nations would probably jump in right away too.

And the Baltics should absolutely NOT wait for any Article 5 decisions at all. Self defense isn't precluded ...

Good. We (US and NATO) let the Russians know what would happen if they invaded Ukraine, and we kept our word. Russia's military has been gutted as a result. All the "experienced" people are dead for the most part. In contrast to all the bluster and bullshit from Putin and his various mouthpieces, we follow through. NATO will keep it's word again if it needs to. I'd prefer Russia just dissolve into competing regions on it's own, but if they attack NATO I suppose we'll just have to speed that process up a bit.

Balts sounded pretty serious about sending boots to help recently, I wonder if that happened now that NKs are officially entering the fray. Whatever happens, I'm confident Russians will continue to die like rats, hundreds and thousands by the day. It's a good look for Putin I think.

I'd love to see some justice done by having our Northern European allies start annexing the shit out of every kilometer of Russian soil as possible if they were provoked into a shooting war with Putin.

Some rumor circulating that the Ukrainian Air Force may have shot down an Su-34 using an F-16. Exact circumstances not specified.

edit: here is Fighterbomber admitting the loss and blaming it on an F-16. If (big IF) the details are accurate it was taken down on a glide bombing strike mission substantially back from the lines. If actually true then seems likely that the Ukrainian F-16s have received radar upgrades which would make sense if you want to max out the effectiveness of the AIM-120Cs they are getting. Possibly AN/APG-68v9 units that are now surplus as the US moves to AESA units for our F-16 fleet.

Ideally, these should come with helmet-mounted displays for the F-16 pilots to take full advantage of the capabilities these missiles offer.

These missiles are probably most widely utilized in Ukraine's NASAMS launchers and whatever ex-Soviet surface to air systems that have been modified to accept them.
